I hope everyone is having a great weekend! We had my son, Noah's 1st AYSO game of the season which was so much fun! Although we lost the game, the team did an awesome job and we are so proud of our little soccer player, Noah! Go "White Ninjas"!!!
So on to my inspiration for you all this Sunday and here is my card...
This card features La La Land Craft's adorable "Summer Luka". I think I have seen so many blogs and comments saying how Luka reminds them of their sons and I'm no different! LOL Luka totally reminds me of my youngest son, Ethan. In fact, I had thought about adding this image to another scrapbook layout but I decided to use it for a birthday card instead. I think I will probably color up another one for this purpose since this image is just too cute and perfect! Another reason I used this image was another chance to hang on to Dear Summer which is slipping away way too fast! :( I know there are many who have started the school year already and I am bracing myself for this next week and back to school! Okay, so back to my card...I colored up Luka using my Copic Sketch markers. I used some fun papers by Echo Park called "Hello Summer" which went perfect with my theme. I edged all of my papers using my Tim Holtz distress ink in "Broken China". The "Chill Out" sentiment is from my stash. I used my memento ink in Black Tuxedo to stamp this as well as my cute Luka image. Finally, I added some Recollections blue gems on the corners to add a little bit of sparkle.
