Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day: Cheers Anya Holiday card!

Happy Saturday Friends!  I wanted to share a fun holiday card I made recently.  I've had a lot of holiday events this week including our holiday luncheon at work.  I wanted to give out some handmade cards and I made a few using this adorable "Cheers Anya" from The Greeting Farm!

Here's a pic of it...

I kept my card pretty simple just coloring up cute Anya with my Copic Markers and then adding lots of Wink of Stella glitter to her dress and also some white polka dots to the trim.  To her wine glasses, I added some glossy accents and  I also scattered some colorful sequins and rhinestones onto the card base.  For the sentiment, I stamped it using some versamark ink and then took some gold embossing powder over that to heat set. It really looks so pretty against the kraft cardstock.  Oh and the fun background paper is from a collection called Santa Express by Doodlebug Designs.  Super adorable holiday papers!

Here are the Supplies Used:
Santa Express - Doodlebug Designs
Black Tuxedo - Memento
Versamark Ink - Tsukineko

Have a wonderful day  and thanks for stopping by!

TGF FFF and Inspiration Day: Happy Holiday Cards!

Hello Friends!  I'm combining my TGF and Inspiration Day posts together as these cards are all part of my last creations!  So how has your week been?  It's been a very busy one for me filled  with holiday events.  I was crafting away all weekend to get some Christmas cards together which I always make for my co-workers and close friends at work.  Every year I have been using a TGF Christmas image which are always the cutest!  They are always enjoyed and so appreciated each year so I don't mind making them at all! :)

So let me tell you about the FFF theme this week which is Non-Traditional Christmas colors!!!  Since some of my cards used different colors other than red and green, I thought they fit in for this challenge.
Here is one of them...

and here are a few more samples of my TGF Christmas cards this year...

My picks for this year were the adorable Holiday Anya 4 and Cheers Anya!  I'll be sharing my "Cheers Anya" with you tomorrow! :)   Both are perfect for Holiday cards!!!  I even personalize the cards by using favorite colors and coloring hair to match the recipient which is always fun to do!  I hope they will like these cards and I hope you all like them too!  Do you also make personalized holiday cards for co-workers, friends and family during the holidays?  I'd love to see them! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful rest of the week!

Hi Friends!  Happy Tuesday to you all!!!  We have a fun Loves Rubberstamps challenge for you this week!  The theme is Winter or Christmas cards! I bet many of you are working on some of those right now so why not play along?!! :)

We have 2 fantastic sponsors this week and they are Meljen's Designs and All Dressed up

   All Dressed Up Stamps

Here is my card:

So for my holiday card, I couldn't wait to create using one of the new stamp sets I recently picked up from Lawn Fawn called Winter Penguin.  What I love about Lawn Fawn sets are that even though they are pretty simple images, there are so many pieces to the sets that you can make several different cards.  On my card, the snowflakes, the hearts and the sentiment all come with this fun set!  And the perfect paper match is definitely Frosty Friends  by Doodlebug Designs.  This collection is so bright and cheerful and perfect for the holidays!  I finished off my card with some sequins and twine as always!

Here are the additional supplies used on my card:
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink
Salty Ocean - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Wink of Stella - Clear Glitter

I hope you will all play along this week to show us your Winter/Christmas cards!  Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other amazing projects the DT has to share for some inspiration!  Also, if you want to check out all of the adorable Lawn Fawn sets, the Loves Rubberstamps store has brand new releases that just came in!

Have a great week and thanks so much for stopping by!

Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day: Happy Birthday!

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!   I hope everyone has had a great week.  I still can't believe we're already into December, can you?!! Well along with Christmas cards, I do have quite a lot of birthdays in the next few months which I need to make cards for.  So for today, I decided to make a birthday card for my Loves Rubberstamps inspiration day!

And here it is...

So this is my first time coloring up a Penny Black image and I had so much fun.  The stamp set I used is called Sweet Thing.  I colored up this cute gal with my copic markers and then added some white gel pen to the sprinkles on her cupcake as well as some Wink of Stella to the frosting and parts of her outfit.  I cut her out using some stitched circles and added some sequins for some extra sparkle.  The fun papers I used are from an American Crafts collection called "Lucky Charm".

Here are the Supplies Used:
Sweet Thing - Penny Black
Lucky Charm - American Crafts
Sentiment (Happy Birthday) - Doodlebug Designs
Black Tuxedo - Memento

Make sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the adorable Penny Black collections.  They are all so adorable!

Thanks for stopping by!

The Greeting Farm FFF Challenge: Best Friends!

Hello and Happy TGIF Friends!  We have a super fun Farm Fresh Friday challenge today over at The Greeting Farm!  This week's theme is "Best Friends"!!!   What a great idea to make a "Buddy" card!  This truly was so much fun because for a friendship card,  I immediately thought of coloring up 2 adorable TGF images and that is exactly what I did!!!

  So here is my creation...

Okay, so I've had this very sweet stamp set from the Oliver and Amelia collection called Little Dreamer for quite some time but it's been sitting in my TGF collection stash waiting to be created with.  Well, I felt like this week was the perfect time!  I did a little bit of masking to get these besties closer together and then colored them up with my copics.  I did add some Wink of Stella and glossy accents to part of their backpacks but it's really hard to see in the photo.  Then I had so much fun creating the background with some Tim Holtz distress inks.  I picked up this Sunset color combo from a Kristina Werner card and really love the way it turned out.  I'm really on a roll with distress inks lately if you haven't noticed! :)  The "Best Friends" sentiment comes from another fun TGF stamp set called Dollie with Bow.  Hope you like my card!

So be sure to visit  The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the other amazing friendship cards from the rest of the DT.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Marcy
