I had recently picked up some Wow embossing powder in Gold Rich Pale and I couldn't wait to play with it because I really love the tone of this gold color.   I  used my Versamark ink to stamp some flowers and leaves from a set called Contemporary Roses by My Favorite Things.  I then water colored over them with some Tim Holtz distress inks.  I really soft colors against the gold.  I added Wink of Stella over the flowers and you can't really tell from the photo but there is tons of pretty sparkle here!  To finish off my card, I added some sequins including the fun heart ones from Pretty Pink Posh.  I also tied some pink jute rope in a bow for a bit more splash of color!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Versamark Ink - Tusukineko
Mustard Seed-Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Picked Raspberry-Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Peacock Feathers-Tim Holtz Distress Ink

Loves Rubberstamps Saturday Inspiration: Easter Card With Love

Hello Friends!  I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far and that some of you are enjoying the Easter festivities going on this week and weekend!

Here is an Easter card I've made for my Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day....

I had so much fun making this card and especially with these cute bunnies from the Lawn Fawn set called Snow Day.  Even though this stamp set can easily be used for Christmas, it can also be used for Easter and many other occasions.  I mean who doesn't love cute bunnies, right?!! :) This card is going to my mom from my kids and it's perfect since there are 3 little bunnies to represent each of them!  For the background, I had fun watercoloring using some Tim Holtz distress inks over an embossed background stamp called BG Gingham Background from My Favorite Things.  I really like the way it came out with the soft colors which match the copic colors I used on this image.  To finish off my card, I scattered some sequins on top and also took out my bow it all to make a festive 3 looped bow!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Snow Day - Lawn Fawn
BG Gingham Background - My Favorite Things
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink
Salty Ocean - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Peacock Feathers - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Mustard Seed - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Wink of Stella - Coming soon!

Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the adorable Lawn Fawn Set!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!  For those of you celebrating the Easter holiday, may you have a special day with families and loved ones!

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge: Water color Tag with a Touch of Metal!

Happy Tuesday Friends!  We have a new Loves Rubberstamps Challenge starting today and this week's theme is "A Touch of Metal"!!!

Here's a tag I made for some inspiration...

I felt like water coloring this weekend so I decided to make a fun tag which I plan to give with a Thank You present.  It was the perfect opportunity to take out my Koi Water Color set and my paint brushes.  The flower images I used are from an MFT set called Contemporary Roses and these are so perfect for water coloring! I decided to emboss my image and sentiment which gave a resist effect and then added some color on top as well as some Wink of Stella for lots of sparkle.  To finish my tag, I added a handmade bow, some sequins and then of course my "touch of metal" which is the butterfly! :)

Here are the additional supplies used on my card:
Contemporary Roses - My Favorite Things
Peacock Feathers -Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Wink of Stella
Koi Water Color Set

Thanks so much for stopping by and makes sure to stop over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog get the details for this challenge and to see what the rest of the DT gals made!

Loves Rubberstamps Saturday Inspiration: Fun Shaker card!

Hello! I have a fun and simple shaker card to share with you all today.

Here is my card...

Shaker cards are so much fun to fill with colorful sequins, glitter and lots of other crafty yumminess!   I just can't get enough of them these days!  I used some Pink Bazzill polka dot paper to frame my shaker window as well as the base of the card.  The background papers used on my card are from an adorable collection called Sweetheart by Doodlebug Design. And my sentiment  "Love You" was created using the My Favorite Things new DIE-NAMICS set called Love & Adore You Die Set.  I've used this DIE-NAMICS set on several of my cards these last few months so I know I've definitely gotten my money's worth!  It's just so easy to use and I love the look of a die cut sentiment.  To finish off my card, I found some Jute Rope to tie in a bow and some lovely Wild Orchid Crafts roses.

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Sweetheart - Doodlebug Design
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz distress ink
Pink Polka Dot Paper - Bazzill

Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!

Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Saturday Inspiration: Amazing, Beautiful, Fabulous YOU!

Happy Saturday Friends!  I'm here with a fun card share for today.  I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend so far!

Here is my card...

I had been making so many Valentine's Day cards for the last month that it felt a little odd at first to make something completely different!  Well that didn't last too long when I took out my bin of cute MFT Pure Innocence stamp sets!  These images are so adorable and so much fun to color up with my copics.  This PI girl comes from a set called Make a Wish.  After coloring, I cut her out on stitched circle die and then added some handmade banners made using the gorgeous Fabulous collection by Simple Stories.  The kraft background is embossed with some polka dots and I also used my white gel pen to run some stitches around the border.  I added a few enamel dots to finish off my card.

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Make a Wish - PI Collection by My Favorite Things
Fabulous - Simple Stories
Mustard Seed - Tim Holtz distress ink
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink

Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the Pure Innocence collection stamp sets by My Favorite Things!

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge: Adore You!

Hello and Happy Tuesday Friends!  Today starts a new Loves Rubberstamps Challenge and the theme is "Let it Sparkle"!

Here is my card...

This week's theme was my pick and since I always love to add lots of sparkle, this was super fun for me!  For my background, I used the BG Gingham Background stamp from MFT embossed on some white card stock and then covered with some pretty distress inks.  I actually sprayed some glimmer mist from my stash which got the colors flowing to give it that water color effect.  I decided to make a shaker card so I could fill the shaker with lots of pretty sequins and then decided to scatter a few more on the top of the card for added sparkle!  I took the Die-Namics Love and Adore You die set by My Favorite Things to create my sentiment with some fun blue glitter paper from my stash. I then added some twine and lots of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers also sprayed with the glimmer mist.

Here are the additional supplies used on my card:
Salty Ocean -Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Broken China - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Faded Jeans - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Ripe Persimmons - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Squeezed Lemonade - Tim Holtz Distress Ink

Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day: Love You!

Happy Saturday Friends! It's my Inspiration Day over at Loves Rubberstamps and I have a fun card share for you all today!  I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!

Here is my card...

Today, I have created a fun Valentine's card using the adorable Pure Innocence image called "Love You with All My Heart" by My Favorite things.  It's been a while since I've used one of these darling images and I had so much fun creating with this cutie! I colored her up with my copic markers and then paper pieced her dress and the heart she is is holding.  I also added some Wink of Stella to her shoes and her hair clip.  The fun papers I used are from Doodlebug Design called "Sweetheart".  These papers are definitely one of my favorite collections for V-Day and I just love them!  I created a cute heart border on the bottom using my  Martha Stewart heart punch border.  Now for the sentiment "Love You", this was created using the My Favorite Things new DIE-NAMICS set called Love & Adore You Die Set.  I  think it's such a fun and different look to use die cuts for sentiments rather than just stamping them which I tend to do.  To finish off my card, I added some scattered sequins and a pink heart button from my stash with some rope twine tied in a bow

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Love You With All My Heart - Pure Innocence CollectionMy Favorite Things
Friends are Flowers - Tiddly Inks
Sweetheart - Doodlebug Design
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz distress ink
Heart Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink

Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store for all of the awesome stamps and Die-Namics by My Favorite Things which have just been recently added!

Hope you all enjoyed my V-Day card and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Saturday Inspiration: Hello!

Happy Saturday Friends!   I'm here with some inspiration today!  If you are following the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week, you know that the theme is to ink up with a color other than black.  I thought this would be the perfect time to practice some "no line" coloring!  So even though the challenge started last Tuesday, I thought it would be fun to continue the theme into the weekend with my Inspiration Day!

Here is my card...

The sweet image I used is from a set called Miss Anya Scarves by The Greeting Farm.  This is the first time I've used this collection so it was a lot of fun!  I really like this technique too because you have to be extra careful with your coloring which always helps me to concentrate more on the details of the image.   I stamped up Anya in Desert Sand by Memento Ink and then colored her up with my copics.  I added some Wink of Stella to her hat and scarf to give her some shimmer.  At the bottom of my card, I used the Die-Namics Scallop Border Trio Set from My Favorite Things.  I added some fun rhinestones to the border as well as some scattered around Anya.  I also couldn't resist pulling out some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts including these cute white crochet flowers!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Miss Anya Scarves - The Greeting Farm
RSVP - Basic Grey
Die-Namics Scallop Border Trio Set - My Favorite Things
Desert Sand - Memento Ink
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts

I'm really happy with the way my card came out and I hope you all like it too!  There's still time to join in the challenge so stop on by the Challenge Blog to see the details.

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy
