If you've arrived here from Shanna's blog you are right on track! If not, I have posted the whole blog hop list below just in case you get lost along the way!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.  Our Saturday was both happy and sad starting off with my son, Ryan doing awesome for his 1st 5K run and then ending with a family funeral for my husband's uncle.  For all you mothers out there, just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day!  Being the Queen Bee of my family, I am looking forward to a nice lunch my husband and boys are taking me to and possibly a movie.  We are also meeting up with my own mom so I know it will be a very special day! :)

So here's my card for my share today!

I was so excited to finally be able to create with this stamp which I bought some time ago.  This is Little Daisy designed by artist Karen Middleton for Sweet Pea Stamps.  I absolutely love this image and loved her even more after coloring her up and seeing her come to life!  I framed my image using an older sizzix die.  I added some acrylic flowers which match my colorers on either side and a bright orange bow to further embellish. The paper collection I used is called Farmhouse  by Crate Paper.  This collection has such fun and cheerful papers!  I edged all of my papers with Tim Holtz distress ink in Pumice Stone.   The sentiment "Smile" is also from a stamp set in my stash.  I stamped the sentiment as well as my image with Memento Ink in Black Tuxedo. On the corners of my card are Candi dot embellishments from the Toy Box Collection.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find crafting supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

Hope you all like my card and thanks so much for stopping by!
Your next stop on the hop is Ivonne!

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using "Buttercup"

Hello Bloggers, It's Tuesday and that means it's time for the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday challenge!!! Our wonderful sponsor for this week is ShapeEZ by TLC.

And here is my project:

Our challenge this week is "Anything Goes"! This is always a favorite because you can make whatever your heart desires!  Since I have been in a "Christmas Mood", I decided to make a Christmas ornament.  My base is a butterfly which came from a template by ShapeEZ.  This was so much fun and super easy to put together.  I decided to stick with my traditional Christmas colors of green and red.  The base is cut using some Bazzil embossed paper in red.  I also used this to fill in the spots on top of the butterfly along with some red rhinestones to give it some sparkle.  The green card stock is from Recollections. I edged all the papers with some Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap. The sweet image in the middle of the butterfly is  called Buttercup. She comes from the Conie Fong collection from Sweet Pea Stamps. She is so precious and I thought she was perfect for this project! I wanted to add the little butterfly which is also part of the image. I stamped her using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo and colored her up with my Copic markers.  I put some dimensional stickers below her to pop her up.  The cute red and white flowers bordering the lower base of the butterfly are from I am Roses.  I added some pearl trim behind the butterfly as a strap so I can hang my ornament.  I'm really loving the way this came out  and also happy that I was able to make a Christmas ornament with this project!

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations"

Happy Sunday everyone!  Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.  My weekend has been busy as usual but I'm so thrilled that my son, Noah's team was able to enter playoffs for AYSO and came out in 3rd place! Go Titans....Yay!!!  It was a really fun season and I'm sad to see it end.  It's been cooling down out here in Cali which is a nice change!  Finally, it is feeling more like Fall! LOL And now with Halloween over, the holidays are speeding up fast! I'd better start getting my holiday projects in order and time is running out! Yikes!  Anyways, today I wanted to share my "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" project.  I decided to do something a little different and make a tag for this week.  I used to always make tags but it's been some time since I've made one!  So today was the perfect opportunity to do just that!  The image I used in this tag is from Sweet Pea Stamps and it is from the Chou-Kuik collection called "The Serene Night".  I absolutely love mermaids and I love this image!  I had so much fun coloring her up with my copic markers.  I added some stickles in "Rock Candy" to the flowers on the branch next to her to give some shimmer.  I also added a pearl string to frame my image.  On the bottom, I layered some teal and lilac ribbon from my stash.  I also added some white flower trim from KarlaS001 on Etsy.  The pretty pink acrylic flower on top as well as the 2 porcelain flowers with the blue centers are also from Karla's store.  I added some fibers and ribbons from my stash in colors to match and looped it through my tag. And finally, I added a garment pin holding a heart as an extra embellishment.  Oh, and the paper collection I used was my favorite "Fairy Flora" by Prima!  Love love these papers!!! Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see all of the other "Sunday Sensationals" by the Loves Rubberstamps Design Team.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find this stamp as well as many more stamps and crafting items of all kinds.  Have a wonderful Sunday and thanks so much for stopping by! :)
