TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge: With All My Heart!

 

Hello Friends and Happy Friday!  With the Holiday on Monday, this week just totally flew by and I'm excited for the weekend to come so fast!  So this week's FFF theme over at The Greeting Farm is "Watercoloring"!!!  Watercolor seems to be so popular these days and I really just can't get enough of it myself!

Here's my card...

There are so many ways to watercolor and I wanted to try this technique I've been seeing on the internet quite a bit recently!  This image is the adorable boy from Winter Kindness which is one of the new releases for September 2014!  I embossed him using some white embossing powder and then colored him in with my Koi watercolor paint set.  Adding the color was quite easy due to the raised edges of the embossing.  However, the shading was a bit more challenging! LOL  The white outline took me a while to get used to but I like how this came out!  I definitely had a lot of fun making this card and if you look at my previous post, I used this same technique on another image.  I hope you will join the challenge this week and enjoy some watercoloring! :)

The Greeting Farm September Preview Day #3 and FFF Challenge: With All My Heart!

Hello Friends!!! Are you ready for more holiday fun?!!  Well, we have a special one for you this 3rd Preview Day of the September Release!

Introducing Winter Kindness!!

And here she is... 

Okay,  I have to first tell you that there is a partner image to this sweet little girl in this fantastic stamp set!  And not only that, there is also another stamp set with 2 more sweet images and sentiments called Winter Greetings also being released today.  Both sets are super cute and perfect for the coming winter season and holidays!

Winter Kindness/Winter Greetings will be released at The Greeting Farm store on 9/1/2014.   

We  also have a double whammy for you all as we have a new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge for Preview Day #3 today!   Yayeee!!!  This week's theme is Favorite Embellishments.  This is a super easy challenge as I'm sure you are probably already using your favorite embellies!  Many of you can probably already tell from the cards that I create that my favorite embellishments are a toss up between Sequins and Enamel Dots.  I also use twine pretty much all of the time! I just feel that these embellishments really finish off my cards and I just love the look of them!  So with that being said, I used all of them for my card! :)  Be sure the check out the TGF Blog to see what favorite embellies the other DT Farmers like to use on their beautiful creations!
