Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring The Paper Shelter Happy Times1

Hello and welcome to Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!! Hope you are all enjoying some warm weather.  It's really starting to feel like Summer and I'm thrilled because I love Summer!  The summer months are pretty busy though with birthdays galore, summer camps, and Father's Day coming up right around the corner.  I thought this week's challenge was a good one to get some Father's Day cards created!

The theme for this week is to make a "masculine" card.

Our wonderful sponsor is The Paper Shelter!!!

Here is my card...

So I was so excited to get some digis from The Paper Shelter to work with including this cute little boy which is perfect for my "boy" card.  This image is called "Happy Times 1" and isn't it completely perfect?  I sure thought so since ice cream always makes me happy! :)   I cut out my cute boy using my Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and then layered that on top of another Spellbinders called Star Circles. The paper collection I used is called Oliver by Lost and Found 3/My Mind's Eye.  I edged all of my papers using Tim Holtz  Pumice Stone distress ink.  I wanted to keep this card simple so I didn't really embellish too much.  I used some brown twine behind my image and then added some Candi Dots in the Toy Box Collection by Craftwork Cards in the corners of the card.  I thought the sentiment "Chill Out" was perfect for this "Ice Cream" day and I stamped it on a handmade banner using Black Tuxedo Memento Ink.

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.

Hope you all like my card for the week!  Have a fantastic rest of the week and thanks so much for stopping by and for all of your kind comments!

And here's my sweet Tilda card....

Isn't this sweet girl so adorable?  This is Tilda with Big Ice Cream from Magnolia.   I colored up this image using my Copics markers. The paper collection I used is called "Fairy Flora" by Prima.  This is one of my favorite collections of all time! I edged all of my papers with Tim Holtz distress ink in Broken China.  I also have an MFT Jumbo Scallop die below my image. The Spellbinders die used to stamp my sentiment on is called Fancy Labels. I stamped this using memento ink in Black Tuxedo The pretty flowers are from Prima and I am Roses. I glued them all down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring Shape EZ TV Template and TGF My Guy Ian

Happy Tuesday Blogger Friends!  Hope you're all having a fabulous start to your week!  It's time for another Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge and this week is the favorite "Anything Goes"! Whoot whoot!!!!

First I want to introduce our fabulous sponsor for this week's challenge and that is  Shape EZ!!!

Here is my card...

This was a really fun card to create! We were given some cute templates to work with including this fun TV Card.  Isn't it so adorable!  This is going to my brother in law for Father's Day so I wanted to pair it up with The Greeting Farm's My Guy Ian which I thought was a perfect match.   I stamped up my image using my Black Tuxedo ink by Memento and colored him up with my copic markers.  I thought the "Hey Dude" sentiment also went well with cute Ian. The TV card template was super easy to work with.  There were just a few layers but basically easy peasy!  The papers I used for this card is called Powder Mountain by Bo Bunny.   I edged all of my papers with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Pumice Stone.  Now I kept it pretty simple and especially since this was a "Boy" card I didn't want to go crazy with the flowers like I usually do! LOL  I added a brown button in my stash and tied some brown twine to it.  The gears are some metal pieces I had in my stash which i believe are by Seven Gypsies. Gears always seem to give a masculine feel to it and they look great as embellishments.

I'd love to see your awesome projects!

Hope you all like my simple but fun TV card.  Have a wonderful week and thanks so much for stopping by to visit! :)

Hope you are all having a fun and relaxing Sunday! I'm excited to share another fun project with you all for the Blog Hop!

So here's my card for my share today!

This darling image is called An Apple for Teacher by MFT.  With the end of the school year rapidly approaching, I wanted to make some Teacher cards and I had been wanting to using this image since I picked it up! I colored up my teacher with my copic sketch markers and cut her out with a Spellbinders die called Labels Fourteen. The papers I used in the background are from a collection called Summer Fresh by Simple Stories.  I have used this collection for so many projects and I definitely need to pick up another pack of these fun papers.  Behind my image I used my  MFT Die called Dienamic Notebook Edge Die which I thought went well with the theme. I edged all my papers with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Pumice Stone The pretty roses in the corner are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I sprayed these up with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to give them some pretty shimmer and glued them all down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  The sentiment "You are Appreciated" is also from the same MFT stamp set .  I stamped this on a handmade banner using memento ink in Black Tuxedo.  I added some bling and the cute paperclip with the star from Recollections to finish it off.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find crafting supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see design team projects as well as information on prizes and winnings!

Loves Rubberstamps Saturday card share featuring "Kimono Marci"

I Design for Loves Rubber Stamps!

Hello! I hope you are all having a great Saturday! I had a really hectic week at work and have been really looking forward to the weekend. We've been having some really warm weather and even though our weekend is already pretty packed, I'm hoping to squeeze in some fun beach time! Hope you all have something fun planned as well!

So I have a special card share this Saturday for the Loves Rubberstamps Blog today and I'm excited to share it with all of you!

Here it is....

This card features the adorable Kimono Marci from La La Land Crafts!  I had tons of fun creating with this sweet image and coloring her up with my Copic markers.  I colored her on some Ultra Smooth Premium White Card Stock by Crafter's Companion for the first time and I really liked using this card stock for stamping and coloring.  I couldn't resist pairing her up with the beautiful "Bird Song" papers from Graphic 45. I edged all of my papers with Broken China and Pumice Stone Tim Holtz distress inks.  I added a black doily I had in my stash in the background and then embellished with some pretty light pink cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts and some Recollections wood chip pieces.  I glued down my flowers and embellishments using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  I used my favorite Black Tuxedo Memento Ink to stamp my image and the sentiment "Konnichiwa" which is also part of this LLLC stamp set.  Finally, I added some pink pearl  bling from Recollections to finish it off!  Hope you all like my card and thanks so much for stopping by! Also, we have the Loves Rubberstamps Sunday Blog Hop happening tomorrow so hope you will all stop by again to join the hop with a chance to win some great store prizes! See you all soon! Hugs, Marcy
