Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring Some Odd Girl's "Tree trimming Kaylee"

Hello and welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!

Hope everyone is having a great week!  Is everyone enjoying the Holiday festivities?!!  Last night we had my youngest son, Ethan's Preschool Holiday concert!  The kids were just way too cute and we were so proud of our little boy!  I just love hearing Christmas music and feeling the Christmas spirit!
It sure is coming up fast, isn't it?!!

So, with Christmas around the corner, our challenge this week is combining the popular "Anything Goes" with a Christmas theme!!! How fun is that?!!!

Our wonderful sponsor for this week's challenge is Eureka Stamps!!!

Here's a Christmas card for you...

Isn't this gal so adorable?  This is "Tree Trimming Kaylee" from Some Odd Girl.  I just love Some Odd Girl and so happy Laura is carrying her at the store!!! I colored up Kaylee with my Copic markers. and added some glitter with my atyouspica pen in "Silver Bells" to all the bells on her outfit.  The paper collection I used is "Noel" by Pink Paislee.  I had fun "decorating" the ornament paper with red ribbon and bling in my stash.  I also added some ribbon to the top of Kaylee's ornament.  Doesn't she look like she's ready to hang her ornament with the others? :)  Peeking out behind her is one of my favorite doily die cuts called "Die-Namics Dizzy Doily Die" by MFT.  The pretty poinsettias are from Petaloo and Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment "merry & bright" also comes from the same fun stamp set!

Here's an up close look...

Other supplies used on my project:
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink
Pumice Stone-Tim Holtz Distress Ink

One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher!  We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and staying warm wherever you are!  It's been colder than usual here in Southern Cali and although this is nothing compared to some of you folks in freezing weather, it's pretty cold for me! :)  However, I do love being inside during this weather sitting by the fireplace and drinking some hot cocoa or a sweet latte while I watch a movie or catch up on some TV shows! :)  This weekend we're also finally getting up our Christmas Tree and some decorations.  My son, Ryan also had a school band Holiday performance so I'm definitely feeling the spirit of Christmas! :) I also did a lot of catching up with my Christmas cards this weekend...mainly because we have our Holiday celebration at work which is usually when we pass out holiday cards and gifts.  I also finally had a chance to try making this fun rosette ornament which was inspired by Bona who is Livelovescrap on YouTube...Check out her awesome tutorial here! Be prepared because these are definitely addicting!
And here's my rosette ornament for your  Sunday inspiration...

So this rosette ornament is going on my own tree!  The ornament itself was so fun and easy to make!  I used a fun Recollections edge punch along the outside and  also some chunky glitter I had in my stash. The image I used is  cute "Beanie Anya" by The Greeting Farm.  I colored up her hair, skin and shoes with my Copics and then paper pieced her outfit.  The fun papers came from some new paper pads I picked up at Michael's during their 70% sale on holiday papers. Wow, what a bargain!  I actually combined some paper collections which are "Noel" by Pink Paislee and "Believe" by Heidi Swapp.  I really never like to combine collections but these had a lot of matching papers which worked out well.  I fussy cut some of the ornaments and the doily which I stamped "Have yourself a Merry Christmas" from a Recollections Christmas stamp set.  I also pulled out my holiday flowers and decided to use my last white Petaloo poinsettia on this as well as some flowers from the Petaloo Spring darjeeling collection which I thought were pretty cool since they look frosted!  The ribbon I added on the top to hang my ornament is from my stash.

Here are the additional supplies I used on my project:
Pumice Stone-Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

Hope you all like my ornament and thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Loves Rubberstamps "Tuesday Challenge" featuring "Riley" Prima Doll tag

Hello and welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge! Hope everyone is having a great week! I can't believe it is December already! Although my favorite holiday is Summer, my favorite holiday is Christmas! I just love the beautiful lights and festivities and just everything that comes with this beautiful celebration.  I feel like having some peppermint hot chocolate right now in fact! :)
Well let me get on to our challenge for the week which is the favorite "Anything Goes"!!!

Our wonderful sponsor for this week's challenge is Shape EZ!!!

Shape EZ by TLC

Here is my project...

And yes I know, I decided to make yet another Prima Doll tag!!!  This time I used the adorable "Riley" Prima Doll!  This tag was so much fun because I decided to pretty much go all out with all the mixed media art material I own!  The tag itself is from the Prima Doll Tag Pad.  I coated it with some gesso and then dabbed on some medium sculpting paste on a fun stencil template by Crafter's workshop called "Mini Punchinella". I added a ton of fun embellishments including the Small Typo BulbsTypo Zipper Pulls and Natural Bark Butterflies all from Prima as well. I added a ton of flowers and then coated everything with more gesso.  Now here was the fun part...I used my Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst sprays to add some beautiful shimmery color to the background.  The gesso grabs all the color for such a pretty effect. The colors I used are "Golden Sleigh Bells", "Cotton Candy" and "Forget Me Not"...all are so pretty! I even used these on Riley's dress and pretty Wings!  "Riley" went last on the tag after coloring up her hair and skin with my Copic markers. I went over her shoes with my atyouspica glitter pen in "Midnight".  You can't really see the shimmer in the photos but guess there's plenty of that throughout the tag! :) I added some dainty lace to the bottom of her dress and some pearl flower trim to the middle.  I also added another pretty lace tied in a bow to the top of the tag.  This was tons of fun and I'm so excited with the way this came out!

Here are a few more photos...
I took these outside during the day to show how "sparkly" it came out! and to show more of the pretty colors!

The Greeting Farm Cyber-Monday Celebration Hop featuring "Holiday Anya 3"

Hello TGF friends and welcome to The Greeting Farm's Cyber-Monday Celebration Hop!!! I had so much fun joining this hop and being able to once again create using my favorite stamps!  I just love The Greeting Farm and I love all of their cute, adorable images!  For today's hop, I decided to make a card using the super cute "Holiday Anya 3"!

Here it is...

I plan on making several of these cards with "Holiday Anya 3" for some of my friends for Christmas.  I think I've used each of the "Holiday Anya's" the past few years and she's always a big hit! :) I colored cute Anya up with my copic markers and laid her on some layered Spellbinders called "Star Circles".   Not sure if you can see but I did add some Ranger stickles in "Stardust" to her muffs and the star in her hair to give her some shimmer! The fun paper collection I used is called "Merry Little Christmas" by My Mind's Eye.  Can you believe I picked up this paper pad at Michaels just Saturday night at their 3 hour 70% off sale!!! What a great deal!  The paper bow was cut out with the dp using a fun bow die cut by Lil' Inkers.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of the blog hop and seeing all of the awesome TGF creations! I'm going to be "hopping" as well!:) Thanks so much for stopping by!  If you get lost, they have the full blog list posted on the TGF Blog here!

Hugs,
Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop featuring "Snowflake Garland Marci" by LLLC

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. Hello Blogger friends and welcome to today's "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop! Hope you all had a wonderful Thankgiving!  It was a little hectic for me hosting this year but after all the running around and stressing, it sure was nice to visit with our family and enjoy a wonderful feast!  Now with Christmas coming up right around the corner, I wanted to get going on more Christmas cards this weekend.

So here is a Christmas card for your Sunday inspiration...

This Christmas card is going to my goddaughter and I had so much fun creating it with this cutie who is "Snowflake Garland Marci" by La La Land Crafts.  After coloring her up with my Copics, I laid her on top of some layered Spellbinders called "Blossoms".  I added some ice stickles in "Stardust" to her snowflake garland as well as the snowflakes surrounding her cut with the MFT's Die-Namics Let it Snowflake Die.  I don't have a lot of papers with purple tones, especially any Christmas ones.  I found this collection called "Violet Leaf" by DCWV at Michaels during the "Black Friday" sale! :)  Even though it's not a Christmas collection, I thought it worked pretty well with the colors.  The sentiment "Christmas Blessings" also came from this fun stamp set.

Here are the additional supplies I used on my project:
Shaded Lilac-Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink
Light teal Rhinestones-Kaisercraft

Also, wanted to let you all know that the Loves Rubberstamps "Black Friday" special is still going on through Midnight CST on Monday, December 2nd.  This special is 25% on any size order and there are so many new stamps just added to the store recently.  Here's the link to the coupon:
Be sure to check it out soon and grab some goodies at a great price!!! :)

Hope you all like my card and thanks so much for stopping by! :)
