The Greeting Farm FFF Challenge: Greetings Friend!

Hello Friends! I hope you're all having a great TGIF Day!!!  I'm so happy for the weekend as always even though it's going to be another busy one.  So let me get right to our new FFF Challenge this week.  We have one of my new favorite themes and that is CAS (Clean and Simple)!!!  I find that my cards are becoming more CAS all the time!  Last year, I was always about layering on my cards with lots of trims, flowers, bling etc.  I mean don't get me wrong, I still love to do that at times.  However, I do love the "Clean and Simple" look and especially with all of the darling images from TGF since they're such great focal points.

Here is the card I created...

Now the cutie I used for this card comes from the Winter Greetings Stamp set from the last TGF release.   I colored her up with my copics and added lots of Wink of Stella to her outfit.  You can't tell in the pic but she has lots of pretty shimmer.  I had so much fun also creating the background and couldn't wait to play with my Tim Holtz distress inks!  I just can't get enough of these beautiful colors!  I added some dots with my white gel pen for a starry sky and also some sequins keeping it very CAS.  The sentiment "Greeting Friends" also comes from this fun stamp set!  Which type of card do you prefer? CAS or Lots of Layers or both? :)

Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the other fabulous creations from the DT Girls!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge: A Purple Sparkly Christmas!

Hi Friends!  Hope you're all having an awesome Friday!!!  So did this week fly by or what?!!  I can't believe the weekend is here already and although it's going to be a busy one, I know it will be fun with all of the Halloween festivities going on.  This week's FFF challenge is a fun color one and that color is "Purple"!!!  I know I have been making Halloween cards the last few weeks and that Purple is actually a perfect color for this holiday.  However, I decided to go instead with a Sparkly Purple Christmas theme! :)

   Here is my card...

I really felt like making a Christmas card this week and purple is also a very lovely color for this holiday so I went with that!  This cutie is the Dollie with Gifts from the latest release and  I was excited to create with her once again.  I decided to combo my purple colors with hot pink which I really like!   I wanted to add sparkle to Dollie so I added some stickles in "Stardust" to the fur on her coat and then my Wink of Stella in clear glitter to parts of her dress and presents.  The picture doesn't really show the sparkle but she has lots of it! :)  For the background, I took out a snowflake embossing folder I had in my stash and then added little touches of distress inks in pink and purple.  To finish my card off, I had to use my automatic go to favorite embellies of twine and sequins!  The sentiment "Joy" also comes from this fun stamp set.

Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the DT's "Purple" creations.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy TGIF!!!

TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge: A Monday Morning Halloween Card!

Hello and welcome to a new Farm Fresh Friday at The Greeting Farm!!!  Today is the popular "Anything Goes"!  I've been in a Halloween mood since the last FFF and couldn't resist making another Halloween card!

   Here is my card...

The Creeper Crew collection is one of my favorites of all time and many of these images are so perfect for Halloween!  I had a hard time picking but came to one of the images I adore and that is CC Monday Morning!  This was actually one of the first images I colored up as a Guest Designer for TGF and I just love her.  I found some old Halloween papers from my stash. I thought the skulls and color went well with cute Monday!  I also found a fun Martha Stewart Halloween fence punch I hadn't used in forever and thought it would be a fun element for this card.  Finally, I just had to add my favorite embellishments right now which are sequins and twine! :)

Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the other fun "Anything Goes" projects from the rest of the DT girls!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
