Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring "I Gave You My Heart" from Gorjuss Girls

Hello and welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!   Hope everyone is having a great week.  It was nice to have the extra holiday but gosh, this weekend went by way too fast.  Did it fly by for you?  October itself felt like a blur and now I'm bracing myself for the next few months which are going to be busy busy!!!

Anyways, enough of my rambling and on to our challenge....This week we have a fun one which is "Black and White" or "Sepia"!

Our wonderful sponsor for this week's challenge is Sweet N' Sassy Stamps!!

Here is my card...

So I don't really have the copic colors for Sepia (that I know of anyways! :)) and decided to go with Black and White. Also, I never really thought to use this cute Gorjuss Girls image called "I Gave You My Heart".  I have always loved these Gorjuss stamps and had just purchased a few sets from the store.  But when I took her out, I really wanted to create something with her and now I am so happy I decided to use her in this "Black and White" challenge because she is so adorable!  Now I did decide to add a pop of light pink which I added with my Copic Sketch markers in Tea Rose to her cheeks.  The rest of her is colored using the cool grays.  I also used some Spun Sugar in distress inks to edge the papers and also the distress stickles to the centers of my white flowers and the heart on the paper she is holding.  I think it really looks so pretty to have the pop of color against the black and white!  The pretty papers I used for this project are from a collection called "Meadow Lark" by My Mind's Eye.  Really pretty double-sided black and white papers.  I used these papers also for the layered Spellbinders called "Labels Eight" behind this cute girl.  The flowers are a combo from Prima (The Printery Collection) and some white Recollections flowers.  The pearl spray is something I had in my stash.  The sentiment "You'll be in My Heart" is from a random stamp set I had in my stash.

Here are some additional supplies I used on my card:
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store!

Loves Rubberstamps "Tuesday Challenge" featuring "Prima Doll with Swing Dress" canvas

Hello and welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge! Hope everyone is having a great week.  Can you believe it is November already?  Time is just flying so fast!!!
So  this week is the favorite "Anything Goes"!!!

Our wonderful sponsor for this week's challenge is The Cutting Cafe!!

The Cutting Cafe

Here is my project...

I decided to make a canvas using another Prima doll called Prima Doll with Swing Dress.  I thought this doll was so glamorous looking so I decided to give her a lot of pink and sparkle.  I also went for a mixed media arts look with this canvas.  I colored up my doll using the Copic Marker Color Fusion Trio 2 Sketch markers set.  I then pretty much added a bunch of flowers and embellishments which I gesso'd and then sprayed over with various pink shades using my Tattered Angels glimmer mists.  I also did a lilttle bit of stenciling in the background.  I think I needed to spend more time drying in between which would have probably made some of the art mediums such as the sculpting paste stand out a little more.  But I guess it's sometimes the impatient side of me that wants to get to the finished creation fast! LOL  I'm still learning this technique too so the more I practice will help me get used to using these products. Anyways, for the most part, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I do love the Prima Light bulb "Sweet" which is from the Prima Junkyard Findings.  These trinkets are so much fun to use in projects.  The sentiment "Dream" is also from a Prima Stamp set.

Other supplies used on my project:
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink
Flowers-Wild Orchid Crafts

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop featuring Mo Manning's "Cupcake Thief"

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. Did everyone have a fun Halloween?!!!  We had a lot of fun local Halloween events this last month but on Halloween evening, we went to my brother in law's place to help out with the yearly family Haunted House!!!  The kids really enjoyed helping out this year and it was a big success.

Here's a pic of the front of the house....

We had some pretty great scares and look forward to next year's which may be at our house! :)
And I can't believe it is already November and moving into the next holidays to come.  Just like October, November holds a lot of birthdays and so my inspiration this Sunday is a birthday card made for a friend.  She loves sweets and cupcakes and I thought this image by Mo Manning called "Cupcake Thief" would be perfect!!!  Here it is....

I had so much fun making this card and I think this image is soooooo adorable!!!  I love the sentiment it comes with "a balanced diet is a cupcake in each hand"!  So cute!   I colored up this cute little thief with my Copic Sketch markers.  The fun papers I used are called "Little Girl" by Echo Park.  I kept it pretty simple and added some Ranger Stickles in "Diamond" to her wings and the stars on the top cupcake.  I also added some light green tiny pearls to the 2nd cupcake to make it look like candy sprinkles.

Here is an up close look...

Here are the additional supplies I used on my project:
Faded Jeans-Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink
Light blue rhinestones-Kaiser Kraft
Polka Dot ribbon from my stash

Hope you all like my card and thanks so much for stopping by! :)
