Hello Friends and hope you've all had a fantastic week! It has been so super busy and hectic for me between work and home and I'm so excited to have today off to watch my 2 oldest boys, Ryan and Noah in their Junior Lifeguard competition at the beach! I love this program and each year my boys just really impress me with how much they've improved with their swimming and endurance skills! I'm definitely looking forward to enjoying some fun in the sun in this warm weather we've been having lately!

I do love this color palette and had so much fun creating this card and using the adorable Anya from the My Sunshine set! She is so cute and perfect for paper piecing which is what I decided to do. The pretty papers are from my Mind's eye from a Kate and Co collection called "Cambridge". Such beautiful papers! For the sentiment, I used some new sparkle embossing powder from Ranger and you can't really see it in the photo but it came out so nice and shimmery. To finish off my card, I added a doily, some pink jute and some cute little Prima flowers I had in my stash!
