The Greeting Farm FFF: Happy New Year!

Hello Friends!  I am really late in posting this as I have been sick with colds the last few days which has caused my timing to be off big time! So sorry about that but I figured better late then never, right?! :)  Anyways, the FFF challenge this week is actually one I'm hosting on the TGF Blog and this one is perfect timing....Holiday cards!!! So now is the time to get some Holiday cards done and maybe win a prize for entering in the challenge! :)

Here is the card I created...

So I totally had Christmas in mind for this challenge the whole time but ended up making a Happy New Year card!  But isn't this adorable new Cheers Anya so perfect for that holiday!  She's perfect for so many occasions actually and I had so much fun coloring her up and creating my card.  I thought the black and yellow were elegant colors for this theme and I also added part of a hoarded black doily I had in my stash.  It just had to go! :) I also added a little bit of white dots to her dress using my gel pen and lots of my Wink of Stella in clear glitter for extra sparkle.  I also added some glossy accents to her champagne glasses to emphasize them toasting in the New Year!!! :)

Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the other fabulous creations from the DT Girls!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Hugs,
Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge: Make a Splash with cool colors!

Happy Tuesday Friends and welcome to another Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!  Hope you're all having a great week and that some of you are enjoying the Veteran's Day Holiday today!

Before I get to my card, let me introduce this week's challenge Sponsor which is The Paper Shelter!!!

Here is my card:

I had a lot of fun with this week's challenge!  When I think of cool colors, I always think of the ocean or water and of course with mermaids being some of my favorite images to create with, I couldn't resist using this adorable image called Monet the Mermaid by A Random Fan.  I colored her up with my Copic Markers and added lots of my Wink of Stella in Clear Glitter to give her lots of shimmer!  I also added some glossy accents to the cute blue starfish.  For my fun background, I used a new Prima Marketing stencil called "Bubbles" and added some cool colors using several of my Tim Holtz distress inks in the shades of Blue and teal.  I really like the way it came out!

Here are some other supplies used on my card:

Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink
Peacock Feathers - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Broken China - Tim Holt Distress Ink
Faded Jeans - Tim Holtz Distress Ink

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find more adorable A Random Stamp  images.  There are some new ones that just came to the store and they are all so adorable!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Marcy

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!!!  I'm here to share some inspiration today from Loves Rubberstamps! With the reopening of the store, there are so many new stamps and crafting items that I can't wait to get my hands on!  I'm looking forward to lots of new creations and of course sharing them all with you! :)

Here is the card I made for today...

So  I had originally thought to make a Christmas card with this adorable Gorjuss Girl image called The Black Star.  However, I ended up deciding to give her wings by using my Wings stamp set by Prima Marketing and voila, she became a cute angel! :)  I had so much fun coloring her up with my copics and couldn't resist adding lots of my Wink of Stella to give her lots of shimmer.  I also added some stickles to her wings for even more added sparkle!   For the soft background,  I did some masking and used some of my Tim Holtz distress inks.  I just love how the inks blend together so perfect every time!

Here are the Supplies Used:
The Black Star - Gorjuss Girls Stamps
Wings - Prima Marketing
Seedless Preserves - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Faded Jeans -Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Weathered Wood - TIm Holtz Distress Ink
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz Distress Ink

The Greeting Farm Inspiration Day: We're the Perfect Blend!

Hello Friends and Happy Thursday to you!  Today is my day to share a little TGF inspiration for today!

I have a fun card I've created to share and here it is...

DSCF1481

So my inspiration for this friendship card is actually being with my Bestie and our love of coffee!    We definitely both enjoy a  delicious cup of hot java but even more so, we love being able to meet up to enjoy our coffee time together!  So I knew immediately that Latte Anya and Frappi Anya were so perfect for my card!    I had fun doing a lot of coloring with my copics.  I also added lots of Wink of Stella for shimmer which unfortunately  you can't really see but these gals definitely sparkle!  I really love these images together  and wanted to focus in on  the two Anyas by making this a Clean and Simple (CAS) card!  Both images are so different just like many friendships but still, they do make the perfect blend, right?!!! :)

Here's a silly pic of my Bestie and I after a Starbuck's run!

I hope you all enjoyed my card and that this gives you some inspiration!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Marcy
