Happy Sunday Blogger Friends!  This is actually an early post as I am away with the family celebrating our wedding anniversary!!! I can't believe it's been 16 years with my partner in crime!!!  :)  Although it would have been nice to get away for a romantic weekend, I know we'll have a blast enjoying some bonding time with the family as well!  And this kicks off our busy busy October with birthdays galore and Halloween events coming up!

Speaking of Halloween, here is my Sunday inspiration card for all of you...

I was so very excited to finally have a chance to make a Halloween card which I had been wanting to do for the last few weeks!  I wanted to get out this cute little PI gal called "Little Witch" by MFT.  Isn't she so adorable?!!!  I stamped my cute little witch with my favorite Memento ink in Black Tuxedo and then colored her up with my copic sketch markers.  The paper collection I used is called "Wicked" by My Mind's Eye.  Such fun Halloween papers!  I edged all of my papers using Tim Holtz distress ink in Old Paper. I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts which I sprayed with some Tattered Angels "Iridescent Gold" to give them some pretty shimmer. The leaves are punched out from some of the dp using a Martha Stewart leaf punch and the cool spider in the corner is from Recollections.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Hope you all like my card and thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring Prima Doll with Peasant Dress

Happy Tuesday Blogger Friends!  Hope you're all having a fabulous start to your week!  It's time for another Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge and this week is the favorite "Anything Goes"!!!

Our fabulous sponsor for this week's challenge is The Cutting Cafe!!!

Here is my project...

So seeing all the beautiful Prima Doll projects out there, I couldn't resist making another fun Prima Doll Tag.   I started out using the Mixed Media Doll Tag Pad as a base and covered it with some acrylic white paint on the front and along the edges.  I then added some pretty designer paper by My Mind's Eye called "Bramble Rose".  These papers have great backgrounds that look perfect for multi media projects. I especially liked this pretty fence background to lay my Prima doll against. I edged my papers using the Tim Holtz distressing tool and then some Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Pumice Stone .  The Prima doll I used for this tag is called  Doll with Peasant Dress and I had a lot of fun creating with her.  I first stamped her using my Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then colored up her hair, skin and shoes using my Copic sketch markers. I paper pieced her pretty peasant dress and headband with the same designer papers.  I then added some Ranger stickles in "Diamond" to her headband, the ruffles on her dress and her shoes to give some added sparkle.  I wanted to add more dimension to my tag so I took some small pink and white flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and added it behind her on the fence. I also added some leaves which was punched using a Martha Stewart leaf punch.  The burlap green butterfly is from my stash as well as the green flower trim at the bottom.  For the top, i crinkled up some white seam binding and sprayed it up with my Tattered Angels glimmer mist in "Cherub Pink".  I hooked it on to a wide eyelet and added a little heart with flower charm as an added embellishment. The "Hope" sentiment is also from a Prima Stamp set.  If you remember my 1st Prima tag, I used the sentiment "Wish". I have one more sentiment "Dream" to use so I will be making another doll tag soon for this! :)  I have to honestly say I wasn't sure where I was going with this tag when I first started but I'm really happy with the way it came out.  Also, with this month being Breast Cancer Awareness month, I thought the pink colors and the sentiment "Hope" were perfect for this!  I plan to give this tag to my aunt Jo who is a breast cancer survivor.

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.  I'd love to see your awesome projects!

Hope you all like my Prima Doll tag! I definitely will have more of these doll creations to come!!! Have a wonderful week and thanks so much for stopping by to visit! :)

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop featuring TGF's "Cuddle Anya"

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. Happy Sunday All! Hope you've all be having a good weekend so far.  I was so looking forward to the weekend to relax and catch up on some things but my very busy week turned into a very busy weekend! So it started out a little stressful earlier this week when my goddaughter was checked into ER and diagnosed to have pneumonia! :(  Since I had been praying for her since this happened and thinking of her often, I decided to make her a cute "girly" card she could look at while she was in the hospital.  I was able to actually bring it to her this Saturday morning along with some gifts to enjoy. The good news is that she's on the road to recovery and doing so much better.  That along with my son, Noah's great soccer game with an awesome goal and getting together with my family to celebrate my mom's birthday made the weekend end on a better note!

So here's the tag/card I made which I also wanted to share for my Sunday inspiration...

As I mentioned, I wanted to make something really "girly"just because my goddaughter is such a "girly" girl! :)  With her being sick, I thought of comfort and this image of The Greeting Farm's  Cuddle Anya was so perfect for this occasion!!!  Isn't she so adorable with her little bear hat and little teddy bear?!!!  I stamped cute Anya with my favorite Memento ink in Black Tuxedo and then colored her up with my copic sketch markers.  The base of my card is actually a page from a flower chipboard album which I've taken apart.  I wanted to make this so that she can also hang the card in her room when she gets home.  The paper collection I used is called "Childish" by Fancy Pants.  So perfect for my little girl theme and such fun papers. Behind her peeking out are some layered doilies from the MFT Die-Namics set call Doily Duo Die set.  I edged all of my papers using Tim Holtz distress ink in Victorian Velvet. I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and some pink acrylic small teddy bears.  The beautiful pink sequins trim around the flower card is from my stash.  I love how shiny and pretty it is!  For the top, I added a large eyelet and tied a bow through that using some soft pink sheer ribbon also from my stash.  Finally, I added a heart charm to the top hooked onto the bow using a garment pin.

I'm entering this into the TGF-FFF Challenge-Tags

Hope you all like my project and thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring Kenny K's "Boogie Down"

Hello and welcome to Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!! Happy Tuesday all and hope you're having a great week!  A lot going on this week for me so I'm trying to stay organized!  Also, the weather has cooled off quite a bit with the 1st day of Fall being yesterday.  So even though I am sorry to see Summer leave, I'm looking forward to the cooler temperatures and getting prepared for the holidays!  So what great timing for the challenge this week which is to use "Fall Colors"!!!  Our sponsor for this challenge is the fantastic Kenny K!!!
Here is my card  to share with all of you...

The card features a fun image called  Boogie Down by Kenny K   She is part of my favorite Glam Gang collection. She is just too cute and I love the boom box in the image too!   I stamped up my image on white cardstock with my Black Tuxedo Memento Ink and colored her up with my copic sketch markers.   I used some warm colors to match the papers for this theme.  The paper collection I used is called  Apple Cider by Bo Bunny.  These papers have a lot of Harvest inspired backgrounds such as pumpkins and apples.  However, they are so versatile and looked perfect with my image as well!  I edged all of my papers with Walnut Stain Tim Holtz Distress ink.  I added some white doilies peaking out on the top and bottom also edged with the Walnut Stain. My finishing touches were to add some bright orange ribbon which I made into a bow and some Kaiser Kraft rhinestones in gold to the corners of my card.  The sentiment "Celebrate" comes from a stamp set I had in my stash.  This is going to a friend for her birthday so I thought it went well!

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my project.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop featuring TGF "Do Si Do Anya"

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher!  We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!  It's cooled off quiet a bit over here and we enjoyed staying local for a sports event weekend.  My son, Noah had another awesome soccer game and today, we will be watching my son, Ryan's 1st Fall Baseball game of the season.  I did get to enjoy some crafting time and I wanted to share my card I've made for this week's Sunday inspiration.

Here is my card....

So I first want to share the card template I used. I was excited to run across this Splitcoast Stamper tutorial for a Modified Tri-Shutter Card. Now I have to admit that some of these new templates really overwhelm me and it usually takes me a few times to get something down.  But this card was super easy to follow and so much fun to make!  In the tutorial, it shows how it  can easily be laid flat and mailed.  Of course, I couldn't resist getting dimensional with this card! :)  However, I definitely plan to make some Halloween cards which will actually fit in an envelope for once! LOL  So back to my card...this features the cute Do Si Do Anya from The Greeting Farm!  Originally, I had thought of giving her a more "Western" or "Country" theme.  However, I really wanted to use her on this birthday card I was making and so excited with the way she came out!  She's so adorable!!!  I stamped cute Anya with my favorite Memento ink in Black Tuxedo and then colored her up with my copic sketch markers. The paper collection I used is a Kate Spade Collection called "Cambridge Court' by My Mind's Eye.  These are such gorgeous papers!  I paper pieced Anya's dress and bow with the DP and also added a sentiment from the paper collection as well.  I also added some layered Spellbinders behind her in Lacey Ovals Large.   All of my papers were edged with  Tim Holtz distress ink in Victorian Velvet.  I added some roses and cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid Craft and some pink pearl bling from Recollections.

I'm entering this card in the following challenge: TGF Farm Fresh Friday-Paper Piecing
TGF Garden Variety-Blue Raspberry

Hope you all like my card and thanks so much for stopping by! :)
