Hello Blogger friends!  I'm so excited to join in on the Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop this week!!!

Here's my project to share for some Sunday inspiration...

This is a Valentine's gift bag I made using the Gift Bag Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers.  Laura has just stocked the store with all of these punch boards which are so popular right now in the crafting world!!! They are so versatile and easy to use.   I've been having so much fun with the 3 punch boards I currently have and can't wait to get the remaining 2!  The cute PI gal on my gift bag is called "Love You With All My Heart" by My Favorite Things.  She is so super cute!  I colored her up with my copic markers and paper pieced her outfit and heart she is carrying.  The paper collection I used is a fun one by Doodlebug Designs called "Sweetheart". I love this collection of pinks and kraft papers.  Behind this cute PI gal is a MFT doily die called Die-Namics Decorative Doily Duo.   I also used some scallop borders which are from a set called "Die-Namics Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die Set" also by MFT.  To finish off my project, I tied some pink polka dot ribbon around my gift bag and also added some cute small flower trim.

Here are a few additional pics for you....

I didn't do any decorating on the side or the back of the bag for this project since I really liked the pink embossed card stock as is.  However, I just wanted to show you what the basic bag looks like using the punch board.  You can certainly decorate it more as desired and either add the holes or not on the top for ribbon threading if you prefer.

Here are the additional supplies I used on my project:
Victorian Velvet -Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

Hope you all like gift bag and thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Loves Rubberstamps Saturday Inspiration: Got Pie?

Hi Friends and Happy Saturday!  It's my Inspiration Day over at Loves Rubberstamps and I'm excited to share my latest card with you! :)

Here it is...

This card features the adorable "Baking Marci"!  What a cute little little baker so cute in her outfit and little kitchen mitts.  I also love that she's holding a pie, one of my favorite desserts of all time! :)  I had so much fun coloring her up with my copic markers and added some stickle in "Start Dust" to the trim on her apron and to her little hair bands.  I love the paper collection I used which was perfect for this baking theme.  The papers are from Kaisercraft called "Nan's Favourites".  Super cute collection!  The cherry blossoms are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Laura just added a bunch of new flowers to the store and they are all so pretty!  The sentiment "Got Pie" is from a stamp set in my stash.  I thought it went well with cute little Marci! :)

Here are the Supplies Used:
Baking Marci - La La Land Crafts
Nan's Favourites - Kaisercraft
Victorian Velvet - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge: A Recycled Little Valentine!

Hello Friends and Happy Friday!  This week's challenge is a fun one...Use a recycled item on your project!  This can be anything from some packaging to fabric to something you might be using everyday at home.  Be creative and just have fun with it! :)

Here is my card for some inspiration....

This card features the adorable Amelia from the "OA Valentine" set!  I have been wanting to get this stamp set for some time but with my luck, it had been out of stock the few times I checked for it.  When I did see it back in the store, I grabbed a set right away!  I don't have a lot of the Oliver and Amelia sets but these sweet images are really growing on me and I can't wait to get more!  This came just in time for Valentine's Day and I had so much fun making a V-Day card and coloring up this cute gal with my copic markers! I added some stickles in "Stardust" to her hearts and the star in her hair.  My recycled bit is the cardboard you see layered in the middle.  I actually dabbed on some red Tim Holtz distress paint in "Red Barn" to give it some more interest.  I guess you could say that the red jute is also recycled as it came tied on to a gift I received in a recent RAK! :)  Oh, and I wanted to mention that I love this new paper pad called "Sweetheart" by Doodlebug Designs.  Love the bright pinks and kraft!  Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the other "Recycled" projects from the rest of the DT gals.  Happy TGIF and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

I decided to start some Valentines Day cards and I just love this cute image by Tiddly Inks called "Friends are Flowers".  My Tiddly Inks collection is slowly growing and I just really love their images.  I colored up this sweet "Wryn" with my copic markers.  For the heart flowers and her shoes, I used my Copic Marker Color Fusion Trio 2 set which blend so perfectly!  I also added some stickles in "Stardust" to add some shimmer.  The fun paper collection I used is called Love Story by Echo Park.  The sentiment also came from that paper collection.

This week, I followed the MFT Sketch Challenge 161I have been wanting to join the MFT sketch challenges for a while now and love their images as well.

I absolutely love adding flowers to my projects so I'm thrilled they are now being carried at the store!

Here are the Supplies Used:
