So here's my card for my share today!

Since today is Easter I wanted to make an Easter card for today's post.  This adorable image is Magnolia's Tilda Carrying a Lamb.  Tilda and her little lamb are so super adorable and I was so excited to use them for my card!  I colored this sweet image using my copic sketch markers and most of her dress was from the Color Fusion Trio 2 set which I just received recently.   The paper collection I used is by Teresa Collins called Sweet Afternoon.  I love this collection since it is so Shabby Chic which is the mood I was feeling for today! :) I distressed all of my papers with my distress tool and then  I edged all of my papers with Tim Holtz distress ink in Pumice Stone.  I also added some light distress ink around the edges of my image in Spun Sugar.  The pretty roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Kaiser Kraft I sprayed these up with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to give them some pretty shimmer.  For my white flowers I also added some of the Spun Sugar to the tips to give it some soft color. I glued my flowers down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  The sentiment "Believe" is from my stash.  I stamped this on a handmade banner using memento ink in Black Tuxedo. The white vintage lace is also from stash as well as the doilies peaking out from behind little Tilda!  The pink pearl bling is from Recollections.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find the latest Magnolia collections and so many others including crafting supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

Hope you all like my card and thanks so much for stopping by!
Your next stop on the hop is Ivonne!

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge using Sweet N' Sassy Bluebird

Hello and  Happy Tuesday to you all!!!  Hope Everyone is having a great week in preparations for Easter.  Can you believe Easter is coming up so fast!  I guess with all the chaos of last week, I didn't realize it was pretty much here!  My kids are already bugging me about coloring eggs and Easter hunts so guess I'd better get prepared! And I know my family has a lot to be thankful in celebration of this blessed day as well!

So on to our Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge today!!! This week's project is "Easter theme"!

Our wonderful sponsor for the week is Sweet N' Sassy.

Here is my card...

This image is from a Sweet N' Sassy image called "BlueBird".  I thought this image was so pretty and would make a beautiful Easter card.  I colored my image with my copic markers.  I added some glitter in blue to the wings and also some Martha Stewart flocking powder in Robin's Egg to my bluebird.  I then cut him out using my Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and layered it on another Spellbinder called Lacey Circles which I cut out using some design paper.  The design paper I used is called Simple Stories Fabulous.  Love this pretty paper collection!  I used some light blue Bazzil card stock for the banner in the background and also the sentiment "Easter Blessings" which  I stamped with  Memento ink in Black Tuxedo.  I  edged my papers using my Tim Holtz distress ink in Broken China. The flowers I found at the dollar bin at Michaels. I thought the colors matched perfectly!  Oh and I did do some embossing directly on the white card stock using a Sizzix texture plate called Swirls.  I really like how this came out!

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store. Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" featuring Chloe Little Cottage Cuties

Hello Blogger Friends! Hope everyone has been having a good weekend.  This week has been a whirlwind  for me with  a family emergency earlier this week.  Everything is fine though and I just wanted to thank those of you who have sent positive thoughts and prayers my way.  My dad is doing well and my family is so thankful for this!  I haven't had much time to visit blogs or do any crafting whatsoever.  However, I was lucky I had this cute image colored up early enough to use it on my Sunday card.

Here's my card...

And the cute image I'm talking about is called Chloe from the Little Cottage Cuties Collection by Elisabeth Bell from Whimsy Stamps!  Wow, that was a long title! LOL But isn't she darling?  I've had her for some time and I was so happy to be able to use her for this card which is going to a friend for her birthday.  My friend's birthday was last week but it's going to her late due to all the craziness this week. I guess better late then never, right?!  I colored this sweet image using my copic sketch markers.   The paper collection I used is by Simple Stories called Summer Fresh. I edged all of my papers with Tim Holtz distress ink in Brushed Corduroy.  I also added some light distress ink around the edges of my image in Broken China.  The pretty roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I sprayed these up with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to give them some pretty shimmer. I glued my flowers down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  The sentiment "Happy Day"is from my stash.  I stamped this on a handmade banner using memento ink in Black Tuxedo. The white lace is also from stash and the light blue pearl trim is from Scrapbooking with Me on Zibbet.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find the Cottage Cutie collection and so many others including crafting supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge using MD Teddy Cookie

Hello and welcome to Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!! Hope everyone had a fun St. Patrick's Day on Sunday and a great start to their week!

So this week's challenge is "For the Love of Chocolate".

Our wonderful sponsor is Meljen's Designs!!!

Here is my "chocolate" project...

Front

Back

This digi is called "Teddy Cookie" and this sweet bear is so adorable!  I couldn't wait to use him on my project and colored him up with my copic sketch markers.  For my project, I decided to do a take on a candy bar wrapper.  Since this little teddy was eating a cookie, I thought it would be fun to make a cooke wrapper instead!  I just picked up this corrugated dark brown paper from Michael's recently and thought it would be fun to use it for the base. I layered some papers from the Bo Bunny Collection called Apple Cider on top of this  Even though this collection has a lot of Fall and Thanksgiving colors, this colllection also has a lot of fun backgrounds to use for all kinds of projects.   I edged all the papers with my distress ink in Frayed Burlap.  The image itself I cut out using my Spelbinders Standard Circles Large and that is layered on another Spellbinders called Star Circles.  The sentiment "Just Add Milk" is from an MFT stamp set I had in my stash called "Sentimental about Cooking".   I thought this was perfect because you have to have milk with cookies, right?!! :)   I stamped this sentiment using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo. The gold bling is from Recollections. I also added a button with twine to the top of the cookie wrapper to help pull up the cookie from the wrapper as well as to add a little additional embellishment.   For the back, I added some pretty Prima Shabby Chic flower trim in orange to cover the back as well as more of the Recollections Gold bling to line the opening of the wrapper.  I used Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect to hold most everything down.

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my project.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.  I'd love to see your "Chocolate" designs!!! :)

Hope you all like my challenge project!  Have a fantastic rest of the week and thanks so much for stopping by and for all of your kind comments!

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using SC Ice Cream and Pickles

Hello!  How is everyone doing this weekend? It has been one busy weekend for me with back to back sports and family events both days.  I was so happy Friday came but then I blinked my eyes and it is now Sunday! What happened?!!! LOL  The weather has also been strange here in California with some days last week which felt like summer and today, chilly and gloomy! Very weird!  And we are all up bright and early again. My son, Ryan, had to alter serve and be at church at 7:00 AM.  Way too early with no coffee! LOL  This afternoon we are off to my new Sister in Law's baby shower.  She is due in April and the family is thrilled!  It was perfect timing for me to share this card for my
"Sensational Sunday Inspiration" over at Loves Rubberstamps!

Here's my card...

I was so happy to be able to use this darling Saturated Canary image called Ice Cream and Pickles.  Isn't this image so cute and perfect for the "Preggy" stage, right?!!!  I know some of you know what I mean! :)   I colored this image up with my copic sketch markers.  Since today is St. Patty's day, I'm thinking maybe I should have used some green.  Hopefully teal will suffice! LOL The paper collection I used is by Simple Stories called Fabulous!  Beautiful papers.  There is a doily design peeking out behind the image which is my favorite! Love Doilies!!!   I edged all of my papers with Tim Holtz distress ink in Brushed Corduroy.  I also added some light distress ink around the edges of my image in Dried Marigold.  The image I cut out using my Spellbinders in Standard Circles Large.  I layered that on top of another Spellbinders called Lacey Circles. The pretty teal rose and orange cherry blossoms are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I sprayed these up with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to give them some pretty shimmer. I glued my flowers down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  The sentiment "Oh Baby"comes from an MFT mini Baby stamp set and I stamped this on a handmade banner using memento ink in Black Tuxedo. The pretty teal ribbon is from the Michael's dollar bin!  Such easy ribbon to work with and it has great texture.  I want to get other colors for sure! I love finding great buys!!! :)  Finally, the teal rhinestones on the corner are Kaisercraft.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find all of the latest Saturated Canary images and so many others including crafting supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

Hope you all like my card!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful and safe St. Patrick's Day!!!
