The Greeting Farm May Preview Day #3 an "Miss Anya Summer" Beach Girl!

Hello Friends!!! Are you ready for some "Summer Lovin'"?!!!   I sure am as Summer is my favorite season of the year!   And today we have a beautiful Summer set for you for this last May Preview Day!

Introducing "Miss Anya Summer"!!!

And here she is...

Now this is just one of the 3 adorable Anya images the set offers!   They are all so cute and fun to create with!   Summer always reminds me of the beach which is my favorite place to go every chance I get! I found some fun beach papers in a collection called "Summer Soul" by Fancy pants to use as a background.   After doing some embossing on the die cut behind Anya, I then just added a little bit of distress ink, twine, some flowers and some sprinkles of sequins.   "Miss Anya Summer" will be released at The Greeting Farm store on 5/1/2014.   Please check out The Greeting Farm Blog.   We have some amazingly gorgeous creations for you today by the DT, but before we get to that- Marie and Jess wanted to let you all know that we received an overwhelming response, both positive and well, not-so, haha, about the new 'face' of Miss Anya in the last few releases.   Because it seemed that we were literally split down the middle w/ your preferences, the Miss Anya collection will now be a little bit of both.   We do what we can to keep EVERYONE happy on the Farm.   Thanks for understanding and we hope you'll be happy with both!

Hope you all enjoyed my  "Miss Anya Summer" card and have enjoyed the 3 days of  preview for the new May 2014 release! Tomorrow starts the TGF Blog Hop so please be sure to come back to participate and win these awesome stamps! Have a wonderful day!!!

Hugs,

Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge: Arrigato!

Hello Friends!  Hope everyone is having a great week!  We have a new Loves Rubberstamps challenge for you and this week, we have a fun inspiration photo.

Here it is...

Don't you love the colors in this picture?

First, let me get to our wonderful sponsor this week,  The East Wind!!!

Here is my card for you ...

This is my first time working with a digi by The East Wind.  They've got beautiful images and this one especially caught my eye as I love Asian themed ones!  After coloring up this pretty Japanese girl with my Copic Markers, I used some stickles in "Stardust" to color the flowers on her head band.  I also took out my hoarded "Fairy Flora" paper by Prima to give some subtle color in the background.  After tying a bow from some bronze ribbon in my stash, I then added some pretty flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Recollections, which I sprayed up with some glimmer mist to give them some added sparkle!

Here are some additional supplies used on my card:
Broken China - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo - Memento

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my project.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see the other projects made by the DT!  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes from the store!

Hope you all like my card and have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
Marcy

The Greeting Farm May Preview Day #1: We Sound Awesome Together featuring "Guitar Ian"

Hello Friends!!! Today is a special day as it is Preview Day #1 for The Greeting Farm's May  2014 release!!!  Today, we are showcasing the adorable "Guitar Ian"!!!

Here's my card for you today...

I really love all of the "Ian" stamps and this one is already one of my favorites! I just love Ian's shaggy hair and his cute guitar!  I thought he looked like he might be serenading a special girl which is why I chose the romantic sentiment! :)  I had a lot of fun coloring him up with my copics and added a notched border die for him to sit on as well!

"Guitar Ian" will be released at The Greeting Farm store on 5/1/2014.  Please check out The Greeting Farm Blog as well as each of my fellow DT gals (ChitraLysaJodi and Kristina) to see their projects for the "Guitar with Ian" preview.   Each day, they will be giving away the preview stamp of that day so make sure to leave comments today so you can own this super adorable stamp set!

Hope you like my card for this Preview Day #1 and be sure to come by tomorrow for Preview Day #2. Hint: What does the Fox say?!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Dance Like No One is Watching!

Happy Saturday Friends!  Today, I have an Inspiration Day card to share for Loves Rubberstamps!

Here is my card...

This card features the adorable Dancin Mae from Some Odd Girl!  Isn't she so adorable? I love how she is grooving to some tunes and her happy expression!  I've always been a big fan of SOG and was so excited when Laura decided to carry this line at the store!  They just have the sweetest characters and are super fun to color!   So I colored up cute Mae with my copics and then kept my design pretty simple by just adding layers of these beautiful papers by Echo Park called "Beautiful Life".   I added some Recollections bling in some multiple colors for a fun touch!

Here are the Supplies Used:
Dancin Mae - Some Odd Girl
Beautiful Life  - Echo Park
Victorian Velvet - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo -Memento Ink
Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see the items used on my card and to see all of the Some Odd Girl Stamps!  They are all so adorable and there are many to choose from!  Hope to see you back here tomorrow for the fun "Sensational Sunday" blog hop!

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge: How's it Rollin'?

Hello and Happy TGIF! We have a new Farm Fresh Friday challenge for you all!  This week theme is "Boy Crazy": Make a Masculine/Boy card!

Here is my card...

So with 3 boys, you would think that I am a pro with making "Boy" cards.   However,  the truth is that I often seem to be challenged by these and always go the "girly" route most of the time if I have a choice! Lol  But I do love a good challenge and thought this would the perfect time to ink up cute Skater Ian!   Ian is the perfect image and will be kept until Summer as a birthday card for my oldest son, Ryan, who loves skateboarding these days! :)  After coloring up Ian with my copics, I kept my card pretty basic with the design and just added some cool papers from Fancy Pants called "Soul Searcher".  I also added some twine and random enamel dots from Basic Grey.  The sentiment is from another TGF set called Later Sk8ter which was just perfect for my theme!

Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the boy cards made by the rest of the Design Team.  Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy
