Hello, If you are looking for the Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop post, please click here! :)

So are you ready for TGF's last day of preview for the January Release?!!  As I mentioned yesterday, this one is a super SWEET one as as the star of today is the adorable "Sweetie Bean"!!!!

And here she is...

What a sweetie!!!! :) The "Bean" collection has always been a favorite of mine and this one is as adorable as all of the others!  Isn't her garland of hearts too cute?!!!  When I was creating my card, I immediately thought of Valentine's Day coming up  and found this background paper from the collection Love Note by Fancy Pants.  I thought she would look so cute flying from this heart tree like she picked the hearts on her garland from the tree itself!  I decided to paper piece this little gal's outfit and her hearts. I also added some glitter to her wings to give her more shimmer.  I thought she came out so cute!  "Sweetie Bean" will be released at The Greeting Farm store on 1/1/2014.  Please check out The Greeting Farm Blog to see other design team projects for the "Sweetie Bean" preview.  Each day, they will be giving away the preview stamp of that day so make sure to visit the TGF blog and leave comments today so you can own "Sweet Bean"!

Hope you all like my "Sweetie Bean" card and have enjoyed the 3 days of  preview for the new January 2014 release! Tomorrow starts the TGF Blog Hop so please be sure to come back to participate and win these awesome stamps! Have a wonderful day!!!

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring "Love Letter Kaylee" by Some Odd Girl

Hello and welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!

Is everyone ready for New Year's Eve?!! We plan to join the rest of our family to ring in the new year locally. I can't believe 2014 will soon be here and I'm hoping that it's a good one!

Our wonderful sponsor for this week's challenge is QKR Stampede!!!

With the New Year 2014 approaching fast, our challenge this week is "New Year's Resolutions"!
Here is my card...

So what is your New Year's Resolution?!!  I have many on my list which seem to come up every year like losing weight, getting more organized, planning finances etc....  However, I have a few new ones and one of them is to keep in better touch with my family and friends who are not local.  I used to write letters or email quite a bit as well as making regular calls to many of my friends and family who I do not get the privilege of seeing as often as I would like.  However, it seems like each year gets even busier than the year before.  With our busy lifestyle and always on the go, I have been horrible at keeping in touch lately and it is one of my goals to communicate more through letters/emails, calls and even Facebook messages which is an easy way to just drop a line to say hello and let them know I am thinking of them. Life will always be busy and I cherish the relationships I have with all of my relatives and close friends!   So with this New Year's resolution, I thought it would be perfect to use "Love Letter Kaylee" by Some Odd Girl as the star of my card. Isn't she so adorable?!!! I colored her up with my copics and then added some stickles to the hearts and bows on her outfit.  I love this paper collection for my theme which is called "Love Letters" by Bo Bunny. Love that postage stamp background!  I also added a scallop border using the "Die-Namics Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die Set" by MFT. This set has 3 different scallop borders which is so cool and fun to use.  The sweet sentiment comes with the stamp set.

Other supplies used on my project:
Victorian Velvet-Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento
Roses-Wild Orchid Crafts

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store!

Hope you all like my card!  I really enjoyed creating this card and having a chance to think about my resolutions and goals for the new year 2014.  Wishing you and your families all a safe celebration and a wonderful New Year 2014 to come! May all your special wishes and dreams come true! :)

When I saw this beautiful image called Katherine from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, it definitely made me think of Holiday, Glamor and Party themes all in one.  To me, she was perfect for our "Holiday Blitz" theme!  I've had her for some time and was so excited to color her up with my copics for this week's challenge.   Behind her is one of my new favorite dies called Die-Namics Oval Dainty Doily Die by MFT.  Also from MFT is the Die-Namics Faux Crochet Border Die below her.  I added lots of bling and some pearls from Recollections and as well as some beautiful roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I also  punched out some leaves using a Martha Stewart leaf punch.  Oh and these gorgeous papers are from a collection called "Curio" by Basic Grey.  I have been hoarding these papers forever but had to take it out for this fun challenge!  All the papers were edged with Walnut Stain Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  I love this sentiment which is also from this same fun stamp set.

Here are some other supplies used on my card:
Black Tuxedo-Memento

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday" Blog Hop featuring MFT's "Holiday Hugs Snowman" and "Die-Namics Spring Wreath Die Set"

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher!  We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

Hope you're all having a great weekend and enjoying the Christmas holiday festivities! It was a busy one for us with 2 of my kids being in the local Christmas parade.  Boy was that hectic running around and trying to get to where we needed to be in the midst of all the crazy traffic and closed streets!!! However, once we got seated and actually had a chance to enjoy the parade, it was fun as usual. After, we enjoyed some more family fun at our local community center and then Sat. evening, we headed over to watch the boat parade of lights which is always so pretty! Definitely a weekend of "Christmas spirit"! :)  As for Christmas shopping, I am way behind!  Hopefully I can get to the mall soon or maybe this holiday season, I'll make good friends with Amazon! :)  Anyways, on to my inspiration... I still had to catch up on a few teacher cards so I made some this weekend to share!
Here's my 1st Card...

This card features MFT's PI "Holiday Hugs Snowman".  Now this is the older version of the newer snowman with hanging ornaments but I still love this cute guy!  After coloring him up with my Copics, I used my Tim Holtz distress ink in "Broken China" to make him more "frosty"! :)  The papers I used are from My Mind's Eye called "Be Merry".  Really fun papers! The sentiment "Holiday Hugs" also comes from the same fun stamp set.  I added some Christmas Recollection flowers I had in my stash as well as some red rhinestones.  The pretty white trim peaking out is also from my stash.

Here is my 2nd card...

Now this one is pretty "CAS" for me! I had so much fun trying out this "Die-Namics Spring Wreath Die Set" by MFT.  Along with the wreath, there are stand alone leaves which I layered on.  Then I added the pretty bow which also comes in the set and some red rhinestones.  Voila!!! A cute little Christmas wreath!  So much fun!!!  The papers and the sentiment are from Recollections.   Simple card but I thought it definitely turned out really pretty!  Both of these cards are going to my son, Ethan's, Preschool teachers. I hope that they like them!!!

Here are the additional supplies I used on my project:
Pumice Stone-Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

And here's one more set of  "Marcy CAS" style holiday cards which went to some of my co-workers this last week!:)  I used The Greeting Farm's "Holiday Anya 3". I'm so happy that they were enjoyed by the recipients.  I also had so much fun playing with my new envelope punch board and using up my tons of 12x12 Christmas pads!  I just love love this new toy!  Instead of using adhesive to seal the backs, I used some washi tape which turned out looking pretty cute! :)

Here they are...

Hope you all like my Christmas cards and thanks so much for stopping by! :)
Your next stop is Joni!
