Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day: Thanks!

Happy Saturday all!   I have a quick fun card I made for today's inspiration over at Loves Rubberstamps.  First of all, I hope for those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, that you had a fun and special holiday!

Here is the card I made for today...

I thought a Thank You card was perfect considering the Thanksgiving holiday we just had.  For my fun and simple card, I used the Contemporary Roses stamp set and Die-Namics from My Favorite Things.   You don't really have to do much because this coordinating set is just so easy to use and the designs are so pretty.  I also made my own background using the BG Gingham Backround stamp also from MFT.  This was stamped on some kraft cardstock which gives it a more muted look and I really like the way it looks!  I really love making my own backgrounds these days and MFT's background stamps are fantastic! I have just a few but want to get more...so much fun!:)  My background images were stamped with some colorful inks from my stash.  I finished off my card scattering some sequins for added embellishment and tying some twine as always.  The "Thanks" sentiment also comes with this fun stamp set.

Here are the Supplies Used:
Contemporary Roses Die-Namics - My Favorite Things
Contemporary Roses Stamp Set - My Favorite Things
BG Gingham Backround stamp - My Favorite Things
Black Tuxedo - Memento

Make sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the fantastic background sets, clear stamps and Die-Namics from MFT.  There are always new sets coming in all the time!

Enjoy  your Saturday and we'll see you tomorrow for a new "Sensational Sunday" Blog hop!

Hugs,
Marcy

The Greeting Farm FFF Challenge: Joy!

Hello Friends and Happy Friday!  For some of you, this may be a "Black Friday" as you're hitting all of the good sales out there! :)  I'm actually getting this post scheduled early as I'm just about to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner feast with my family!  I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving has enjoyed their Turkey Day! :) I always look forward to this holiday which comes with delicious food but even more so, a very special day to be with the family and enjoy fun times!  Well let me get back to our FFF theme for this week which is the popular "Anything Goes"!!!

Here is the card I created...

I couldn't resist using the adorable new Heart Ian for my card!  When I first saw this cute image, I immediately thought Ian would look great on a Valentine's Day card!  However, as you can see here, he looks great on Christmas cards as well and I know he would fit in for a birthday card to a loved one and so many other occasions!  For my creation, I used an MFT background stamp to create the gingham background.  I then added some Christmas papers from a collection called Christmas Time which I just picked up at the store recently as well! The fun "Joy" sentiment is from the Dollie with Gifts stamp set.

Make sure to visit  The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the other awesome creations from my fellow DT girls.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Hugs,
Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge: Arrigato!

Hello and welcome to another fun challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps!  With Thanksgiving coming up in just a few days, our theme this week is "Thankful"!  We'd love to see your Thank You cards or gifts for this challenge! :)

Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is Crafty Sentiments!

Here is my card:

I made a simple but fun card using the adorable Kimono Marci with Fan  from La La Land Crafts.  I've had this image for some time and so excited to create my card with her!  I colored her up with my Copic Markers and used a white gel pen to make some white polka dots on her kimono.  I also added some Wink of Stella in clear glitter to parts of her outfit and some stickles in "Crystal" to her fan!  She's definitely very shimmery! :) For my background, I played once again with some of my Tim Holtz distress inks.  I used some soft colors and thought they came out really pretty.  I also added the fun Bridge Die also by LLLC.  The sentiment "Arrigato" comes from this fun stamp set and perfect for this challenge since it means "Thank You"! :)

Here are some other supplies used on my card:
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink
Picked Raspberry - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Spun Sugar - Tim Holt Distress Ink
Shaded Lilac - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Wink of Stella - Clear Glitter

I hope you're able to join our challenge and for those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving,  have a fun and safe holiday with your families!

Hugs,

Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day: I Just Can't Thank You Enough!

Happy Saturday Friends!!!  I'm here for some Saturday Inspiration Day for you all!  Since the Thanksgiving holiday is coming up this week, I wanted to make a "Thankful" card for today.

Here it is...

I just love this cute image called Luka with Pumpkin by La La Land Crafts.  I colored him up with my copic markers and then added some of my Wink of Stella pen in clear glitter to his pumpkin. The fun festive papers are called Apple Cider by Bo Bunny.  These papers are so pretty and perfect for a Fall theme! I also added some Wild Orchid Craft flowers for some pretty embellishment along with some brown twine.  The sentiment is from an MFT stamp set called Polka Dot Greetings. I embossed it onto a handmade banner using some Black Sparkle embossing powder.

Here are the Supplies Used:
Luka with Pumpkin - La La Land Crafts
Apple Cider - Bo Bunny
Pumice Stone - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo - Memento
Polka Dot Greetings - My Favorite Things
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
VersaMark Ink - Tsukineko
Black Sparkle Embossing Powder  - Ranger

Make sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the adorable La La Land Crafts stamp sets.

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
