The Greeting Farm September 2014 Release Day: Merry Christmas Blog Hop!

Hello Friends!

Today is September 1st and the adorable holiday  NEW RELEASES are now available in the TGF Store!!!

We welcome Holiday Anya 4, Dollie with Gifts and Winter Greetings/Winter Kindness into the TGF collection and we are so excited to celebrate with you all!

Here is my final September 2014 Release Day card...

Since the Holiday Anya collection is one of my favorites of all time and I just love Holiday Anya 4, I couldn't resist creating another fun Christmas card with her as the star! :)  I challenged myself to again use non-traditional colors since I know I'll be making a ton of traditional cards using this sweet gal when the holidays comes around!  I also love royal blue, red and white together and decided to color her up with my copics in those colors.  I think Anya came out pretty cute and I had fun adding lots of my Wink of Stella in glitter clear to her clothes and glossy accents to the ornaments and star on the tree.   I did some embossing on the card base and then decided to also add some Christmas papers.   I found some royal blue ribbon and matching sequins in my stash at home to finish off my card.  I hope you all like it! :)

Before we begin today's hop, we have a few special announcements.  We are welcoming ROSEMARY BRIDGES as our DT Coordinator and JONI WILSON as our Guest DT Coordinator/Special Project leader and we are so thrilled!  Jessica will still remain on the farm in some other capacities, but in her own words, she couldn't be more excited about these special ladies.  They have wonderful energy and will do an amazing job in their duties and are also two of the most talented crafters as well!   I'm so excited to work with Rosemary and Joni as well since I've always been a big fan of both of them and their gorgeous TGF creations!   There's more on the blog from Jess about these new changes, but for now... let's get hoppin'!

One lucky winner who visits all of the DT's blogs, comments, and comments on the TGF Blog that they "hopped" along will take home the ENTIRE SEPTEMBER RELEASE!  Wowzers, that's soooooo awesome, right?!!!
Let's kick things off right!  Here we go…
MARCY DANGCIL (You are here!)
You have until 11:30pm CST to complete the hop and enter to WIN!  Winner will be announced tomorrow on the blog and on our FACEBOOK page, so stay tuned!
Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day: You are One of My Favorite Things!

Happy Saturday All!!  I'm here today to share some inspiration with you for Loves Rubberstamps!  Hope everyone has had a great week and that some of you will have a chance to enjoy the Labor Day Holiday on Monday.     Between work and the first week of school, it's been such a hectic week for me so I welcome this long weekend and hope that I can find some time to relax and hopefully get some extra crafting time in!

So here's the card I've made for today...

If you follow my blog, you might have noticed that I've been making a lot of backgrounds for my cards lately and having a lot of fun doing so!  There are so many technique out there and I want to try all of them!!! LOL  This is one of my favorites which is using a background stamp with some embossing and then adding distress inks and water for some great water color effects.  For my card, I also added some glimmer mist to give it some shimmer which is so pretty!  I just love the vibrant colors and the sparkle on this background!  The sentiment is from MFT's Polka Dot Greetings and this was stamped onto the background using Versamark Ink  and some black sparkling embossing powder by Ranger.   To finish off my card, I added some beautiful Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, some pink jute rope and sequins.

Here are the Supplies Used:
Polka Dot Greetings - My Favorite Things
Spiced Marmalade - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Peacock Feathers -Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Picked Raspberries - TIm Holtz Distress Ink
Black Sparkling Embossing Powder - Ranger

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!  Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for a new Blog Hop and some amazing projects! :)

The Greeting Farm September Preview Day #1: Joy for Holiday Anya 4!

Hi Friends!  I'm so excited that today starts the previews for the The Greeting Farm's September 2014 Release!!!  And they're here just in time to get started for the holidays.  I'm sure you're gonna just love all of them.  So today, we are showcasing an adorable holiday stamp called Holiday Anya 4!

Here's my card for you today...

The Holiday Anya collection is one of my favorites and I love every image!  This one is just sooooo cute and she's now at the top of my list!....My Christmas card list for sure!!! :)  Love how this one has a cute Christmas tree to embellish!  I had so much fun coloring cute Anya up with my copics and kept it simple with making this CAS card.  I wanted to use some bright festive colors and added some polka dots with my gel pen to her headband and dress.  I also added some glossing accents to the ornaments and of course couldn't go without using my favorite Wink of Stella in glitter clear over her outfit. I did some stenciling on the botton of my card which I thought looked pretty cool.  I also added some enamel dots and twine to finish off my card.

Holiday Anya 4 will be released at The Greeting Farm store on 9/1/2014.  Please check out The Greeting Farm Blog as well as each of my fellow DT gals (ChitraLysaJodi and Kristina) to see their projects for the Holiday Anya 4 preview.   Each day, they will be giving away the preview stamp of that day so make sure to leave comments today so you can own this super adorable stamp set!

Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day: Wishing You a Beautiful Day!

Hello Friends!!!  Today is my Post Day for Loves Rubberstamps and I've made a card for some inspiration!

Here it is...

I'm starting to make more cards lately which do not use an image which I color up with my copics!   Don't get me wrong...I still love making those cards but I also love the look of using sentiments and die cuts as focal points too.  So that's where my "mojo" led me today!   This card was made using a few MFT sets.  The first was used to create the pretty rose which I stamped with some bright inks I had in my stash.  This set is called Contemporary Roses by MFT which is a design by Mona Pendleton.  I also used the matching Contemporary Roses Die-Namics to cut out the flowers and leaves.  I went over the rose and leaves with my Wink of Stella in Clear Glitter. You can't see in the photo but there is really pretty shimmer!  The sentiment which is from MFT's Polka Dot Greetings was stamped onto some dp using Versamark Ink  and then I added my favorite black sparkling embossing powder by Ranger.  The pretty papers in the background are called Fabulous by Simple Stories.

Here are the Supplies Used:
Contemporary Roses - My Favorite Things
Contemporary Roses Die-Namics - My Favorite Things
Polka Dot Greetings - My Favorite Things
Fabulous - Simple Stories
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink
Black Sparkling Embossing Powder - Ranger
Enamel Dots - My Mind's Eye
Wink of Stella - Glitter Clear

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week!

I'm entering this card into the MFT's Get Sketchy Challenge #190.  Wish me luck! :)

TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge: Baby Blessings!

Happy TGIF Friends!  I'm so glad the weekend is here but boy do I have a lot to do before the start of school next week!  I'm already feeling frazzled thinking about it! LOL  Well, today starts a new Farm Fresh Friday challenge over at The Greeting Farm and this week we have the very popular "Anything Goes"!!!

Here's my card...

This is a baby shower card I made for a friend.  Aren't those onesies just sooooo stinkin' cute?!!!   This stamp set is called "Build a Onesie" and it is the boy collection.  I had been eyeing this set for some time but missed getting one a while back.  So a few months ago, I saw it back in the store and just had to grab one!  Oh my goodness, it is just so much fun to put together these little onesies and as you can see, I couldn't make just one!!! :)  I wish I had grabbed the Girl set and hoping it will come back sometime soon!  Oh and the very colorful papers I used to match my onesies are from Doodlebug Designs called "Hip Hip Hooray"!!! Love these fun papers.  I also used some matching enamel dots to embellish my card.  The sentiment also comes from this fantastic set!

Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the to  see the other awesome "Anything Goes" projects from the rest of the DT Farmers!  Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
