So here's my card for my share today!

With this weekend being so hot and just having recently been at the beach, I am definitely in a "Summer" kind of mood and this image totally reminds me of just that!  This adorable little bumble bee girl is "Lily Bee" from Pink Cat Studio.  This is the first time I've used PCS and I really love their images.  This sweet bee was so much fun to color up and create a card with.  I stamped my image using my favorite Memento ink in Black Tuxedo and colored her up using my copic sketch markers.  I cut her out using my Spellbinders Large Ovals Standard and then layered that on top of another Spellbinders Lacey Ovals cut with design paper. With the summer theme going on, I used one of my favorite Summer collections called "Summer Fresh" by Simple Stories.  This collection has so many pretty papers.  I edged all of my papers in my Tim Holtz Broken China.  The yellow ribbon I just purchased recently from Wild Orchid Crafs.  I added a paper flower which I made from using the MFT Rolled Daisy Die.  I love MFT's flower dies and I added a small pearl as a center.  The bling is from Recollections and the fun sentiment comes with the stamp set.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find crafting supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see design team projects as well as information on prizes and winnings!

Hope you all like my card and have a wonderful week ahead!

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring The Greeting Farm "Beatrice Blush"

Hello and welcome to Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!! Hope you are all enjoying your week!  With the 4th of July holiday coming up, the  theme for this week is a "Red, White and Blue"!!!

Our wonderful sponsor is Sweet N' Sassy!!!

Here is my project to share....

This is a tag I made using the darling "Blush Beatrice " from The Greeting Farm!  I'm using this tag for my friend's daughter's birthday to add to her gift.  She really likes my cards using TGF images so I thought this would be fun to make for her.   I've used this cute image a handful of times but decided to go a little different with her this time making her hair blue.  I really love how it came out!:)   I paper pieced her bow and part of her outfit with some designer paper.  I also added some Ranger stickles in "Fruit Punch" to the bottom of her top and to her socks to give her some sparkle.  The tag itself is actually part of a small flower mini album which I picked up at Michael's for $1 a while ago.  The paper collection I used is called "Liberty" by Bo Bunny.   I edged all the papers with Tim Holz distress ink in "Broken China".  Behind Beatrice is a doily which I sprayed up with my Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Spray in "Forget Me Nots". I then used a Ranger acrylic paint dauber in "Cough Syrup" red and added that to the background of the doily.  I also like the way that came out!  The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the bling is from Recollections.  I also added some crinkled seam binding in bright blue to the top of my tag to match the colors.

Other items used:
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

So here's my card for my share today!

I made this card for a friend's birthday.  She loves the colors teal and purple so I used this combo.  Usually when I'm making cards for friends, I use an image that reminds me of them.  This gal definitely reminded me of my friend.  She is from the The Greeting Farm Bean Collection and is called "Bright Bean".  I was so excited to create for the first time with her.  I stamped up my image using my Memento Ink in  Black Tuxedo and then colored her up using my copic sketch markers. I don't have many paper pads at all with purple so I picked up a few random designer papers from Recollections.  I edged all of my papers with Tim Holtz distress ink in Broken China.  The pretty flowers on the side are from prima.  I was hoarding these for so long and then decided to use them on my last few cards. Love these flowers! I added some purple and pearl flower trim on the bottom as well as some pearl bling on my card to further embellish.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find crafting supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see design team projects as well as information on prizes and winnings!

Hope you all like my card and have a wonderful week ahead!

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring The Greeting Farm Cheeky Beach

Hello and welcome to Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!! Hope you are all enjoying the Summer weather and this week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge theme is perfect for that.

The theme for this week is to make a "Summer theme"!!!

Our wonderful sponsor is QKR Stampede!!!

Here is my card...

As soon as I found out it was a summer them, I had The Greeting Farm's Cheeky Beach- in mind! Isn't she so adorable?!!!  And or course, my favorite place to be in the Summer is the beach so i had to do a "Beach" theme as well. The papers I used are from an older Recollections paper collection called "Surf's Up". I still love this paper pad which is perfect for this theme.  My card is pretty simple for this week just layering the papers and using my Tim Holtz distress ink in Pumice Stone to edge the papers. I also went a little crazy with the La La Land dies called Cloud, Sun, Island Die and Wave Border Die.  Both are so fun to use!   My sentiment was also cut out from one of the papers as well as the white sand beach Miss Cheeky is sitting on. Did I tell you that Summer is my favorite season so I plan to be making a lot of Summer themed cards in the next months!
