Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using LLLC Christmas Lantern Marci

Hello and Happy Sunday!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!  Although I'm missing Christmas already, it has been nice this weekend to finally catch up on some household chores and run some needed errands which I haven't been able to do due to the all the running around for Christmas!  And yesterday, we had an awesome family dinner celebrating both my birthday coming up and my dad's birthday last week.  It was really nice to get together with the family again and the food was fantastic.  So one more celebration of New Year's and after that I will be back on my diet for sure with no excuses! LOL

So let me share my Loves Rubberstamps project for "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" day with you all!

Here it is...

This card uses Christmas Lantern Marci by La La Land Crafts. I couldn't resist making another Holiday card which will go to my sweet goddaughter.  Isn't little Marci super adorable?!!! I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo.  I then colored her up with my copic markers.  I placed her on some layered Spellbinders called Beaded Circles. The paper collection I used for the background is from Echo Park called Winter Park.    I edged all papers with my Tim Holtz distress inks in Frayed Burlap.  The pretty dark red poinsettia is from Petaloo and the cute small carnations are from Wild orchid Crafts.  I sprayed these all up with Tattered Angels glimmer mist in Iridescent Gold to give them some shimmer. I glued them down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  My favorite adhesive these days!  For the snowflake embellishment on the top corner,  I punched out two different sizes of snowflakes on white cardstock with my EK Success and Martha Stewart punches.  I layered them on top of each other, edged them with the Frayed Burlap and added a blue rhinestone from Recollections in the middle of it.  The sentiment "Warm Winter Wishes" is also from this Christmas Lantern Marci stamp set.  I love how these LLLC stamps also carry great sentiments which go with the set.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find supplies used on this card.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

Hope you all enjoyed my card!  Have a great rest of the weekend.  The New Year 2013 is almost here!!!

SSS card using Sherry Baldy's Sherri Ann Rose Dancer

Hello Bloggers! Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas with their loved ones! I can't believe it is over and I'm missing it already!  But I am also looking forward to the new year 2013!  Hope this is a good one!  I wanted to quickly share a card I created for Scrapbook Stamp Society using artist Sherri Baldy's  Sherri Ann Rose Dancer.  This is such a fun image and I had a lot of fun creating this card. Since I've been doing so many Christmas projects lately, it was a nice change to use some pinks and purples again for this card. The paper collection I used is "Country Drive" by Echo Park.  I added some dimensional pop dots behind this pretty dancer and set her on a white french doily.  I used my Distress inks and edged the doily and all the papers in Tim Holtz Spun Sugar.  The gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The lace and pearl trim are from KarlaS001 on Etsy.  The rhinestone butterfly is from Recollections.  Hope you all like my card and have a wonderful rest of the week!

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge using SC Double Take

Merry Christmas Bloggers!  Hope everyone is enjoying the spirit of Christmas today with your loved ones!  My family loves Christmas so much and we have been enjoying all of the festivities and especially being with all of our close friends and extended family.  That makes this holiday so very special!

So today is also our favorite weekly challenge!!! The theme this week is New Year's Celebrations.  Yet another fun holiday to look forward to! :)

Our wonderful sponsor for the week is Saturated Canary!

Here is my card...

I had so much fun creating this card.  The beautiful image I used is a digi called Double Take by Saturated Canary.  I adore all of the SC stamps and images and can't wait to get more!  I colored up this gorgeous image using my copic markers. Behind her is a small white french doily which I edged with some Tim Holtz distress ink in Spun Sugar.  The papers I used in the background is a Teresa Collins collection called "Sweet Afternoon".  There are some beautiful Shabby Chic papers in this collection and I chose the pink and white papers.  I felt like layering and distressing for this card so I whipped out my Tim Holtz distressing tool and also tore some of the papers so other papers could peek out from behind.  I had a lot of fun with this technique.  I also felt like Flowers and Bling!!!  So I added a bunch of beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and pink rhinestone bling from Recollections.   I glued most of the flowers down using Best Glue Ever.   I really love the way this card came out!  The sentiment is my own which I just printed out from my home computer and then punched it out using an old Stamp it Up scallop oval punch.

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card. Laura has a ton of new Saturated Canary stamps and they are all so gorgeous!  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other Celebration projects the rest of the Design Team made .  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.

I hope you all enjoyed my card for this challenge. Have a very very Merry Christmas!!! Thanks for stopping by!

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using SC Candy Canes

Happy Sunday blogger friends!!!  I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend and some holiday festivities!   Last night we had the "Simbang Gabi" which is a Filipino Christmas celebration hosted by our church.  It started off with a beautiful cultural mass which my son, Ryan participated in as an alter server.  We then went next door to our church community center and enjoyed a Filipino feast!  The food and desserts were so delicious and sad to say that my ongoing diet just went out the window last night! LOL  Oh well, I did enjoy everything and especially the time spent visiting with friends and family at this event.  My youngest, Ethan was the center of attraction because Filipinos love to party and dance and he was right there in the middle, dancing non stop.  I think my husband had to finally carry him out against his will because he wanted to stay all night.  We were getting tired and honestly, had we let him stay, he would have closed the dance floor down! LOL

So let me share my Loves Rubberstamps project for "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" day with you all!

Here it is...

This card uses Candy Canes by Saturary Canary.  This image is super adorable! I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo.  I then colored her up with my copic markers.  The paper collection I used for the background is from My Minds Eye called Be Merry.   I I edged all papers with my Tim Holtz distress inks in Frayed Burlap.  The pretty red poinsettia and cute small carnations are from Wild orchid Crafts.  I sprayed these all up with Tattered Angels glimmer mist in Iridescent Gold to give them some shimmer. I glued them down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  Love this adhesive! The pretty polkadot ribbon and red pearl trim layered on top of it are from my stash. The sentiment "Be Merry" is from a Christmas PI set I have.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find supplies used on this card.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using Sweet Cocoa

Happy Tuesday Bloggers!  Hope everyone is having a great week so far.  I'm excited to share the Loves Rubberstamps challenge with you all.  This week the theme is Merry Christmas or Happy Chanukah!

Our fantastic sponsor for the week is Sweet N' Sassy!

Here is my card...

I had so much fun creating this card.  Instead of the traditional Christmas card with Christmas colors, I decided to use some blues and grays.  The cute image I used is a digi called Sweet Cocoa by Sweet N' Sassy.  I just love this cute little mouse!  I first colored up this little sweetie using my copic markers. I added some ice stickles in "Silver" to the snowflakes on the cup.  I cut out the image using Spellbinders Labels Twenty Two.  I then started the base of my card using some dark blue Bazzil card stock and also some paper from Bo Bunny called Powder Mountain.  I edged all of my papers including the sponging on the Spellbinder die cut using Tim Holtz distress ink in  Broken China.  I hand cut some banners from the papers and added some Kaiser Kraft rhinestones on them.  I also added some glitter star embelliments on the corner and glued them down using Best Glue Ever.  The bling is from Recollections.

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card as well as so much more.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other Christmas projects the rest of the Design Team made .  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using PI Holly Girl by MFT

Happy Sunday my Blogger friends!!!  Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend full of holiday festivities!  It's been a packed one so far for us but it was nice to enjoy some events and start feeling the Spirit of Christmas!  My son, Ryan, had his first Holiday recital for his Band elective at school.  He plays the clarinet and although it was just a small event at the local Coffee Bean, we were so excited to see him play for the 1st time and so very proud of him!  We were just hoping the instrument squeaking so loudly in the background was not him! LOL  No seriously, all of these beginners were super adorable and did an awesome job!!! All levels of the school band played all the Christmas favorites and it was so much fun! And in the evening, we went to the Ventura Harbor to watch the boat parade.  This was so beautiful and some of these boats went all out with their gorgeous lights and unique displays!  It had been a few years since we've been to this yearly event and it was definitely worth standing in the cold and amongst all the crowds. Hopefully it warms up tomorrow as we will be standing in crowds again to watch the "Hobbit" which I cannot wait for!  Also, our plan is to hit up our local Candy Cane Lane so we'll see!

So enough of my holiday events.....The main reason I posted today is to share my Loves Rubberstamps project for "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" day with you all!

Here it is...

This card uses Pure Innocence Holly Girl by MFT.  Isn't she adorable?!!! I love this image and couldn't wait to make a Christmas card using her!  I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo.  I then colored her up with my copic markers.  The paper collection I used for the background is from My Minds Eye called Jolly Holly.  I  paper pieced Holly Girl's cute dress. I also used these beautiful papers  for the Spellbinder Star Circles diecuts layered on top of each other.  I edged all papers with my Tim Holtz distress inks in Red Barn and Frayed Burlap.  The pretty white Poinsetta is from Petaloo and the cute small carnations are from Wild orchid Crafts.  I sprayed these all up with Tattered Angels glimmer mist in Iridescent Gold to give them some shimmer. I glued them down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  This is such a great adhesive! I added a cute red bow on the bottom to give more embellishment as well as some Recollection red rhinestones. The sentiment "Happy Holly Days" is also from the PI stamp set.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find supplies used on this card.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge using KK Santa Cookies

Happy Tuesday Bloggers!  Hope everyone is having a great week so far.  I'm excited to share the Loves Rubberstamps challenge with you all.  This week the theme is Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! - Create a Winter Scene with a Snow feature... .

Our fantastic sponsor for the week is Kenny K.

Here is my card...

Let me tell you that this challenge was definitely a "Challenge" for me! LOL  I am not used to doing winter themed backgrounds so I definitely had to think outside of my comfort zone.  The image I selected to use is Kenny K's Christmas digi called "Santa Cookies".  To me, she seems more of an "indoor" type of girl! Lol But I really love this image and wanted to stay true to this week's theme so I really tried to incorporate a lot.  I first colored up this cute girl with my copic markers.  I then started the base of my card using some Teal Bazzil card stock and also some paper from Bo Bunny called Powder Mountain.  The background directly behind my image was originally some white card stock which I first embossed using a snowflake stamp I had in my stash.  I then used my Tattered Angels Glimmer mist in Sea Glass, Moonlight and Patina to spray over the paper.  I edged all of my papers using Tim Holtz distress ink in  Broken China.  I then added some Christmas trees in the background which I colored up the base with my copics and then used my Zig 2 Way glue to add some Martha Stewart flocking in Swan.  Finally, I wanted to add some yummy snowflakes!  I also glimmer misted these in the same colors as the background.  I used 3 different punches including 2  from EK Success and also a Martha Stewart punch.  I layered these on top of each other using Best Glue Ever.  This stuff is fantastic!!! The bling I added in the centers of the snowflakes as well as the smaller snowflake embellishments are from Recollections.

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card as well as so much more.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other "Wintery" type projects the rest of the Design Team made .  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.

I hope you all enjoyed my card for this challenge. Have a great rest of the week everyone and thanks so much for stopping by! :)
