Cowboy Luka card

Hello!  Hope everyone has started out with a great week!  I wanted to share a card I made for my son, Ethan's godmother who always does so much for him.  He just recently turned 3 and as always, she was there to help throw him such a special celebration.  So the image is "Cowboy Luka" from La La Land Crafts.  I love this image and instead of paper piecing which I often do, I decided to completely color him up with my copics.  It was a little challenging but I'm happy with the way it came out! The paper collection I used for the background as well as the layered spellbinders with stars is called "Sasparilla" from October Afternoon.  These are such fun "Western" papers!  The flowers are from I am roses.  The daisy in the middle started out white but I sprayed it up with Tattered Angels "Vanilla Breeze".  I tied some twine behind it as well as on the button in the center.  The sentiments are just from some random stamp collections I had in my stash.  I made some little banners  after I stamped on them.  I hope you like my card and thank so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful week! :)

I'm submitting this in the La La Land customer gallery.

Le Romantique Tag

Happy Saturday everyone!!! I'm breaking away from my usual copic coloring today! lol I wanted to share a handmade tag I made for a scrappy friend using the Le Romantique paper collection.  This is one of my favorite G45 paper collections and I received some more of these beautiful papers recently so I couldn't wait to use them!   The beautiful image is also from one of the papers in the collection.  I cut it out and then put some Tim Holtz distress clear crackle paint in "Rock Candy" on top of it.  I like the vintage effect it gave it!  The layered trims are from my stash and the beaded trims are from KarlaS001 on Etsy.  I punched out all the butterflies using my martha stewart punches and added some bling to a few of them.  The top right butterfly are 2 punches layered on top of each other and I added glossy accents on top of it to give it that epoxy look.  The flowers are a combination from I am Roses and Wild Orchid Crafts.  the chandelier gem charm was given by a friend and I hooked it on to the seam binding using a garment pin.  The seam binding started out plain white and I sprayed it up using Tattered Angels "Crushed seashells" and "Cherub Pink" to give it that peachy color.  The aluminum rose is from Canterbury Lanes on Etsy.  Thanks so much for stopping by and for all of your sweet comments.  I'm so happy to share my projects as well as to get inspiration from all of yours!  Have a wonderful weekend! :)
