Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and staying warm wherever you are!  It's been colder than usual here in Southern Cali and although this is nothing compared to some of you folks in freezing weather, it's pretty cold for me! :)  However, I do love being inside during this weather sitting by the fireplace and drinking some hot cocoa or a sweet latte while I watch a movie or catch up on some TV shows! :)  This weekend we're also finally getting up our Christmas Tree and some decorations.  My son, Ryan also had a school band Holiday performance so I'm definitely feeling the spirit of Christmas! :) I also did a lot of catching up with my Christmas cards this weekend...mainly because we have our Holiday celebration at work which is usually when we pass out holiday cards and gifts.  I also finally had a chance to try making this fun rosette ornament which was inspired by Bona who is Livelovescrap on YouTube...Check out her awesome tutorial here! Be prepared because these are definitely addicting!
And here's my rosette ornament for your  Sunday inspiration...

So this rosette ornament is going on my own tree!  The ornament itself was so fun and easy to make!  I used a fun Recollections edge punch along the outside and  also some chunky glitter I had in my stash. The image I used is  cute "Beanie Anya" by The Greeting Farm.  I colored up her hair, skin and shoes with my Copics and then paper pieced her outfit.  The fun papers came from some new paper pads I picked up at Michael's during their 70% sale on holiday papers. Wow, what a bargain!  I actually combined some paper collections which are "Noel" by Pink Paislee and "Believe" by Heidi Swapp.  I really never like to combine collections but these had a lot of matching papers which worked out well.  I fussy cut some of the ornaments and the doily which I stamped "Have yourself a Merry Christmas" from a Recollections Christmas stamp set.  I also pulled out my holiday flowers and decided to use my last white Petaloo poinsettia on this as well as some flowers from the Petaloo Spring darjeeling collection which I thought were pretty cool since they look frosted!  The ribbon I added on the top to hang my ornament is from my stash.

Here are the additional supplies I used on my project:
Pumice Stone-Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

Hope you all like my ornament and thanks so much for stopping by! :)
Your next stop is Joni!
