TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge: A Purple Sparkly Christmas!

Hi Friends!  Hope you're all having an awesome Friday!!!  So did this week fly by or what?!!  I can't believe the weekend is here already and although it's going to be a busy one, I know it will be fun with all of the Halloween festivities going on.  This week's FFF challenge is a fun color one and that color is "Purple"!!!  I know I have been making Halloween cards the last few weeks and that Purple is actually a perfect color for this holiday.  However, I decided to go instead with a Sparkly Purple Christmas theme! :)

   Here is my card...

I really felt like making a Christmas card this week and purple is also a very lovely color for this holiday so I went with that!  This cutie is the Dollie with Gifts from the latest release and  I was excited to create with her once again.  I decided to combo my purple colors with hot pink which I really like!   I wanted to add sparkle to Dollie so I added some stickles in "Stardust" to the fur on her coat and then my Wink of Stella in clear glitter to parts of her dress and presents.  The picture doesn't really show the sparkle but she has lots of it! :)  For the background, I took out a snowflake embossing folder I had in my stash and then added little touches of distress inks in pink and purple.  To finish my card off, I had to use my automatic go to favorite embellies of twine and sequins!  The sentiment "Joy" also comes from this fun stamp set.

Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the DT's "Purple" creations.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy TGIF!!!

Hugs,
Marcy
