Sympathy card

Hello!  Since September started and kids are back to school, sports etc..., it has been non stop for me!  I haven't been able to craft as much as I would have liked.  However, I do have a lot of cards to make for September so you will be seeing more come! :)  Here is a quick card share with a sympathy card I made for a sick friend.  The paper collection I used is called "Melody" from Prima.  The birdcage and bird are from an MFT die cut.  I also used another MFT die for the sentiment which I stamped on from an Heros Stamp Collection.  The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I sprayed them with Tattered Angels "Iridescent Gold".   The cute little white crochet flowers are from I am Roses. The white nylon butterfly is from KarlaS001 on Etsy.  The venise lace is from my stash and I layered some strips on top of each other.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! :)

  1. My sister is in full back to school mode with her 4 kids, and her kindergarten class. She is running around like Road Runner. Love your card for your friend. The soft colors and all the lovely details (bird, flowers etc) make it extra special. The sentiment is perfect. Wishing her all the best.
