Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using PI Holly Girl by MFT

Happy Sunday my Blogger friends!!!  Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend full of holiday festivities!  It's been a packed one so far for us but it was nice to enjoy some events and start feeling the Spirit of Christmas!  My son, Ryan, had his first Holiday recital for his Band elective at school.  He plays the clarinet and although it was just a small event at the local Coffee Bean, we were so excited to see him play for the 1st time and so very proud of him!  We were just hoping the instrument squeaking so loudly in the background was not him! LOL  No seriously, all of these beginners were super adorable and did an awesome job!!! All levels of the school band played all the Christmas favorites and it was so much fun! And in the evening, we went to the Ventura Harbor to watch the boat parade.  This was so beautiful and some of these boats went all out with their gorgeous lights and unique displays!  It had been a few years since we've been to this yearly event and it was definitely worth standing in the cold and amongst all the crowds. Hopefully it warms up tomorrow as we will be standing in crowds again to watch the "Hobbit" which I cannot wait for!  Also, our plan is to hit up our local Candy Cane Lane so we'll see!

So enough of my holiday events.....The main reason I posted today is to share my Loves Rubberstamps project for "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" day with you all!

Here it is...

This card uses Pure Innocence Holly Girl by MFT.  Isn't she adorable?!!! I love this image and couldn't wait to make a Christmas card using her!  I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo.  I then colored her up with my copic markers.  The paper collection I used for the background is from My Minds Eye called Jolly Holly.  I  paper pieced Holly Girl's cute dress. I also used these beautiful papers  for the Spellbinder Star Circles diecuts layered on top of each other.  I edged all papers with my Tim Holtz distress inks in Red Barn and Frayed Burlap.  The pretty white Poinsetta is from Petaloo and the cute small carnations are from Wild orchid Crafts.  I sprayed these all up with Tattered Angels glimmer mist in Iridescent Gold to give them some shimmer. I glued them down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  This is such a great adhesive! I added a cute red bow on the bottom to give more embellishment as well as some Recollection red rhinestones. The sentiment "Happy Holly Days" is also from the PI stamp set.
