Hello and Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I'm so happy that this weekend is a long one for me due to the Martin Luther King holiday on Monday. So that means more time for everything including crafting!!! :)
Today's project was one I put together pretty fast and I'm really happy with the way it came out. Thank goodness my mojo was working! LOL
Here it is...
I decided to make a tag with today's project and I felt like making something "Multi Media Art" like so I whipped out some of my favorite Tattered Angels sprays, glams and glazes as well as some distress inks to play with! Before, I get into that, the star of my tag is the cute Tilda With Dove by Magnolia. I'm so excited that we are carrying more and more of these cute Tilda stamps at the store. I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo and then colored her up with my copics. She is so adorable! So the tag is made using one of those older Tattered Angels Chip Tiles. I don't even think they carry them anymore since they focus more on their colors mediums now. But I absolutely love these tiles and hoarded a lot of them when they went on sale. :) They have different designs and I believe the one I used is from the "Nature" Collection. I covered up my tile in several of my favorite Tatttered Angels sprays, glams and glazes. I wont go into all of those because I used so many! LOL I then used my Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap to edge the tile and also to further define some of the embossed sections which made it pop out more. I punch a hole with a large eyelet on top and added some pretty brown ribbon from my stash and voila, a cute tag!:) I laid cute Tilda on some green burlap trim which is from Karla S001 on Etsy. The cute brown butterfly is also from her store. I added some Wild Orchid Crafts roses and cherry blossoms in some matching tan colors and then some Candy Dots in Coffee Bean to further embellish. These flowers and dots were all glued down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect. Finally I decided to add a bird charm hanging down on the ribbon to match the cute bird Tilda is holding. The charm was actually silver but I used my Tim Holtz alcohol inks to make him bronze! Gotta love being able to alter things so easy these days! :)
