Love Rubberstamps Sensational Sunday Inspirations using Summer Fairy

Hi Blogger Friends!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I've been working on a getting together a lot of projects completed this week.  I have some exciting news to share... I've been selected to be on the Guest Designer Team for The Greeting Farm for the March Release.  I think you all know how I love the Greeting Farm so this is really awesome for me!  I'll be posting some of my TGF projects in the next few days to preview the new release images and let me tell you that they are so super adorable! I'll be posting more details in the next coming days so look out for that! :)

So this weekend I also had a chance to try making a new type of card called the Concerto Card.  You may have seen this card also made by my fellow designers Athina and Dangina.  Here's the tutorial here in case you want to check it out.

Here is the card I created....

Let me tell you that I am not the greatest with some of the instructions I've seen for some card tutorials out there and I thought it would be the same issue with this one when I first saw it.  But actually, when you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to make.  I had so much fun making this card and have already made two of these! The card uses Summer Fairy by Whimsy Stamps.  I couldn't wait to use this image and she is so adorable!  I stamped this pretty image using my favorite memento ink in Black Tuxedo and colored her up with my copic markers. I added some Ranger stickles in Mint Ice to parts of her wings and her shoes.  The paper collection I used is my favorite Prima Collection called Fairy Flora  These papers are so gorgeous!  I edged all of my papers with Tim Holtz distress ink in Brushed Corduroy which is now my favorite distress ink.  I love this!  The pretty pearl flower trim is from Scrapbooking with Me on Zibbet and the cute pretty teal and white trim is from Webster's Pages. The beautiful roses and cherry blossoms are from I am Roses.  I sprayed these up with my Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to give it some pretty shimmer. These flowers were all glued down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  The sentiment actually comes from a MFT Pure Innocence set called Believe in Magic...another fun Fairy set. I just love Fairies!!!:)

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find this Summer Fairy stamp and so many others including crafting supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .
