Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $10 Loves Rubberstamps store gift certificate. So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love for the Designers! You have until Saturday, August 10, at 8pm CST. Have fun and we hope that you enjoy the hop!
If you've arrived here from Lydia's blog you are right on track! If not, I have posted the whole blog hop list below just in case you get lost along the way!
Hope you are all having a great weekend! We've had family in town since my son, Ethan's birthday last weekend. It's been a little hectic trying to host out of town guests but things are finally starting to settle down and we are getting back to our normal routine. I can't believe August is here and I'm hoping my favorite season of the year, which is Summer, won't pass too fast! I'm a little behind on my crafting this week but I did have a chance to create a card for this Sunday Blog Hop!
Here is my card...
I couldn't wait to play with this new stamp I got recently at the store. This adorable image is from The Greeting Farm and is called "Cheshire Bean" from the Limited Edition Alice in Wonderland Bean Collection. Currently, TGF is not carrying this stamp but you are in luck because Laura has this image and others from the same collection in her store! So grab them while you can because they will be gone soon! So After stamping this cutie up with my Memento ink in Black Tuxedo, I colored her up with my Copic Sketch markers. I thought this image would look perfect in a Halloween card so I decided to do a "Halloween in August" theme and I had so much fun! The papers I used are from an old K & Company Kelly Panacci collection. This collection is Halloween themed and was perfect for my card. I edged all of my papers in Black Soot and laid this cute kitty girl on some layered Spellbinders called Star Circles. The pretty flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts which I sprayed up with my Tattered Angels "Iridescent Gold" to give them some pretty sparkle. I finished off my card using some black bling from Recollections.
Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find crafting supplies used on this project. Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store.
