TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge: A cup of some "Cafe Ian" for some Inspiration!

Hello Friends and Happy Friday!  Today is another Farm Fresh Friday challenge and today is a fun one! The theme this week is a Color/Inspiration photo challenge.  Here is the photo...

and here is my card...

So how about a cup of some  "Cafe Ian" for Inspiration? :) Isn't he just so cute?!!!  I love his steaming cup of hot java!  I'm not always great with inspiration challenges but what caught my eye in the photo aside from the pretty colors were the 4 pieces connected together.  Those actually reminded me immediately of my Spellbinders ornament dies!  So that's what I actually decided to use for my card and I thought they looked pretty cool next to Ian.  Guess I found another way to use those dies other than for Christmas cards! :)   The fun papers I used are by Echo Park called "This & That" and the sentiment "how've you bean?" is from an old stamp set in my stash!  Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the other "Color/Inspiration" projects from the rest of the DT gals.  Happy TGIF and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

  1. Hello, just needed you to know I have added your site Cardsharing Server to my Google bookmarks because of your great blog layout. But seriously, I think your site has one of the freshest theme I've came across. It really helps make reading your blog a lot better.

  2. Ian is adorable! I have yet to try these types of challenges, but think I should give them a try as they look fun. Love the fun shapes and how you used them. I only saw Christmas Ornament when I saw them at first. Very cool Marcy!
