Loves Rubberstamps Sensational Sunday with Trixxie Treat

It's time for "Sensational Sundays" at Loves Rubberstamps!  Hope everyone is having a terrific weekend!  My family is enjoying all the festivities of Halloween, one of our favorite holidays of the year!  For this share,  I wanted to continue with the spirit of Halloween and make a project featuring "Trixxie Treat" which is a digi image from Kenny K. I love this image and I couldn't wait to make something with her!  So instead of a card this week, I opted to make a 3D project instead.  I found this cute wooden coffin at Michaels.  I first colored the coffin with Martha Stewart's "Beetle Black" acrylic paint.  I then sprayed over it with some Lindy Stamp Gang sprays in "Witch's Potion Purple" and "Screamin' Banshee Black".  These both have a purple hue to them which went perfect with the black coffin.  I added some purple trim and black beaded trim around the coffin from Karla S001 on Etsy. On the front, I added some orange trim from Webster's.  I laid cute little "Trixxie" on top of the coffin.  Of course I colored her up first with my Copic Markers and wow, that was a lot of coloring!!! I'm glad she came out okay! LOL  And then I just had to add flowers which I sprayed again with LSG in the purple I mentioned previously and also "Hogwart's Orange".  These colors are so vibrant and were a perfect match with my project! I handmade the banner and stamped "Boo!" on it from an Inkadinkado Halloween set.  I used my Memento Ink in "Tuxedo Black" to do this.  For goodies to make your Halloween projects, definitely check out the Loves Rubberstamps store.  There are a lot of great stamps and crafting supplies to choose from.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see all the "Sensational Sunday" projects made by the Design Team. Hope you enjoyed this project and thanks again for stopping by!

Have you ever seen Jim the Gentleman crafter? He is AMAZING. He does lots of them and makes videos on the how to's . Halloween is a favorite of mine too! Candy, fun and Fall, all great things....
