Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using Cheeky Rockabilly

Hello and Happy Sunday!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!  This weekend we finally took down our Christmas tree and decorations. Yes, I know this is so late! LOL  Aside from all the continued events going on, I think I was also holding off as long as possible.  But I'm eager to start off the New Year a little more organized so today I'll be cleaning house and just getting things in order.  That includes my craft room! With all the holiday projects, it still looks like a tornado hit it! LOL!  I actually just got my latest order from Loves Rubberstamps too and I can't wait to play with all my goodies!!! But first things first so I hope my motivation will continue on! :)

So today I would like to share my Loves Rubberstamps project for "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" day with you all!

Here it is...

This darling purse template is actually one I've had for quite a long time.  It's by Provo Craft and I seem to pull it out every Valentine's Day because I think it just makes the cutest VDay cards!  I love how it's so girly and easy to embellish.  So the image I partnered with this card is Cheeky Rockabilly.  You all know I love the Greeting Farm and this is one of my favorite images!  I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo and then colored her up with my copics.  She was super fun to color up and paper piece.  The paper collection I used is by Bo Bunny called Love Letters. These are such great papers which you could use for non VDay projects as well.  I edged all papers with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap and Victorian Velvet.  I laid my cheeky girl on a Spellbinders die called Big Scalloped Circles.  The pretty daisies on the purse handle are from Recollections and I sprayed them up with Iridescent Gold by Tattered Angels to give them some shimmer.  The other pink daisy by my image was originally a white daisy which I sprayed up with Lindy Stamp Gang starburst in Cotton Candy Pink.  I added some paper die cuts from a Valentine K & Co collection to the center of the flower as well as to the handle. Love the "S.W.A.K" lips which is perfect for this VDay gal who looks like she is blowing us all a kiss! :)  These flowers were all glued down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  The pretty light teal pearl trim lining the bottom is from my friend Carlene.  The pink bling is from Recollections. I also added some pink crinkled seam binding to the handle as added embellishment.  I wanted to show you the inside of the card too. I stamped a random sentiment I had "Be Mine" with my distress ink and then added some designer paper which I die cut with MFT's Jumbo Scallop to finish it off!  I didn't do anything to the back yet and not sure if I will but just wanted to show you how this little purse closes up on the back.
