Loves Rubberstamps Sensational Sunday Inspirations featuring altered tin mailbox using TGF Stella

Hello and welcome to Sensational Sunday Inspirations at Loves Rubberstamps!  Hope everyone is having an awesome weekend. This weekend has been a little hectic with my little guy, Ethan feeling under the weather so there hasn't been much sleep for me.  I'm hoping he'll feel better really soon and that the rest of our family will stay healthy.

Fortunately, I was able to squeeze some crafting time in to create my project for today! I hope you all like it!

Here it is...

So if you can't tell from a quick glance at the photos, this is an altered $1 tin mailbox I purchased from Target a few weeks ago.  I couldn't wait to alter this mailbox and I'm so happy with the way it came out.  Let me start with my sweet image which is Stella from The Greeting Farm.  I thought she would be so great for this project as she is such a Valentine's Day image and is also holding a little love letter in her hands which matches perfectly with my mailbox letter theme. I stamped her up with my Memento ink in Black Tuxedo and then colored her up with my copics. Isn't she so darling?!!  I laid Stella on a Spellbinders die called Heart Squares.  The paper collection I used is by Bo Bunny called Love Letters.  Again, these are perfect for Valentine's Day and also for my mailbox theme.  Do you see the postage stamp paper in my side view picture?!! Love it!!!  I also wanted to show you the bottom of my mailbox which I used some pretty music paper from the same collection.  I edged all papers with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap and Broken China.  The pretty roses and carnations  are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I sprayed them up with Iridescent Gold by Tattered Angels to give them some shimmer.  These flowers were all glued down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  The gorgeous teal mesh bling as well as the pretty flower pearl trim lining both sides of my project are from Scrapbookingwithme on Zibbet.  The red ruffle trim is from Sahafuha on Etsy.

I'm thinking to give this as a present and add some chocolates and a letter from my son, Noah on the inside of the mailbox for his wonderful teacher! :)
