Hello and Happy Tuesday to you all!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with their families! We had a great Easter although it went so fast with all of the Easter events. Fortunately, I am on vacation from work the rest of this week. Although I had high hopes to get a lot of "Spring Cleaning and Organizing" completed, I'm feeling a little under the weather so sad to say that I have not accomplished too much. Hopefully, I'll be able to do something before I head back to the craziness at work next week! It has been nice to spend some extra time with the family too and hopefully we can get in some fun events during Spring Break as well! :)
So on to our Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge today!!! This week's project is the favorite "Anything Goes"!!!
Our wonderful sponsor for the week is Shape EZ!!!
Here is my project...
Now I know Easter is over but I am still catching up on a few Easter projects and cards I am making for some friends and family I will be seeing soon. I decided to make a small gift bag for my goddaughter using the Shape EZ Rolled Bag template. I love this template and have already used in on a handful of projects I've made. I will definitely continue to use this as it is so versatile and can be used for any occasion! It's also so very easy to assemble. I just love it!!! The base of my rolled bag was made using some embossed pink dotted Bazzil paper. I edged the sides of the paper using Tim Holtz distress ink in Spun Sugar. The darling image is from C.C. Designs called "Bunny Lucy". I thought this image was so super adorable and perfect for my goddaughter. I colored my image with my copic markers and used the latest sketch set Copic Color Fusion Trio 2 which I had just recently purchased at the store. I really love the colors in this set and they all blend together so perfectly! I added some I Am Roses flowers around my bunny girl and some acrylic light pink stems on the bottom. Doesn't she look like she's sitting in bed of flowers? These were all glued down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect. I also added a pearl stick pin made by a friend. The "Hoppy Day" is a stamp I had in my stash. This was stamped using Memento ink in Black Tuxedo. I filled my bag with some leftover pink Easter grass. On the sides, I added some large wide pink eyelets and some pink seam binding for the handle.
Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my project. Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other projects the rest of the Design Team made. If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store. C'mon, with "Anything Goes", I know you all have some cards and projects to share!
Hope you all like my project for the week! Have a fantastic rest of the week and thanks so much for stopping by!
