Hello! I hope you are all having a great Saturday! I had a really hectic week at work and have been really looking forward to the weekend. We've been having some really warm weather and even though our weekend is already pretty packed, I'm hoping to squeeze in some fun beach time! Hope you all have something fun planned as well!
So I have a special card share this Saturday for the Loves Rubberstamps Blog today and I'm excited to share it with all of you!
Here it is....
This card features the adorable Kimono Marci from La La Land Crafts! I had tons of fun creating with this sweet image and coloring her up with my Copic markers. I colored her on some Ultra Smooth Premium White Card Stock by Crafter's Companion for the first time and I really liked using this card stock for stamping and coloring. I couldn't resist pairing her up with the beautiful "Bird Song" papers from Graphic 45. I edged all of my papers with Broken China and Pumice Stone Tim Holtz distress inks. I added a black doily I had in my stash in the background and then embellished with some pretty light pink cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts and some Recollections wood chip pieces. I glued down my flowers and embellishments using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect. I used my favorite Black Tuxedo Memento Ink to stamp my image and the sentiment "Konnichiwa" which is also part of this LLLC stamp set. Finally, I added some pink pearl bling from Recollections to finish it off! Hope you all like my card and thanks so much for stopping by! Also, we have the Loves Rubberstamps Sunday Blog Hop happening tomorrow so hope you will all stop by again to join the hop with a chance to win some great store prizes! See you all soon! Hugs, Marcy
