The Greeting Farm July 2014 Release Day: My Reason to Smile!

Hello Friends!

Well today is July 1st and the NEW RELEASES are now available in the TGF Store!   Whoot Whoot!!!

We welcome My Sunshine, Birthday Bundle and Dollie with Cupcake into the TGF collection and we are so happy to celebrate this special day with you all!

Here is my final July Release Day card...

Cute Ian is one of the images in the new My Sunshine set!  I had previously used Anya on Preview Day and couldn't wait to create a card with Ian too!  I had so much fun coloring him up and also paper piecing his vest.  I went for a colorful fun card and decided to add some of my favorite stitched circle die cuts.  The sentiment also comes from this adorable set.  

As always, in addition to our DT creations, we have a set of the ENTIRE RELEASE up for grabs today for one lucky winner who participates in our blog hop!

The Greeting Farm July Preview Day #3 featuring cute "Dollie with Cupcake"!

Hello Friends!!! Are you ready for another sweet treat?  Well, we have a special one for you this 3rd Preview Day of the July Release!

Introducing Dollie with Cupcake!!!

And here she is... 

Yay!!! Another adorable Dollie and I love that she is carrying a yummy cupcake!   I'm lovin' this Dollie collection and this one is super cute!  Her outfit was so much fun to paper piece and I also added some Wink of Stella pink to her shoes and frosting on her cupcake.    I even decided to paper piece some funky polka dot socks on her! :)    Dollie with Cupcake will be released at The Greeting Farm store on 7/1/2014.   Please check out The Greeting Farm Blog.   We have some amazingly gorgeous creations for you today by the DT featuring this adorable dollie!

Loves Rubberstamps Saturday Inspiration: A Sun Kissed Canvas

Hi Friends!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  I've been under the weather this week and have a few cards in the making but thought I'd share another canvas with you for my Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day.

Here it is...

This is one of my favorite pictures of my son, Ethan, taken a few years back!  I knew the minute I saw this picture, I wanted to do a layout of some sort with it.  I had some extra canvases so ended up altering one of them.  After coloring up the base with some sage green acrylic paint, I again kept it pretty simple since the papers I used are so pretty already.  This older paper collection is from  Prima called "Sunkiss" and is still one of my favorites.   I embellished my canvas with goodies in my stash including some burlap, a small wooden chipboard frame from Michaels, some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and a Tim Holtz ticket stub which says "Adore".  On my roses,  I also added a bit of gold stickles around the edges to tie in with the colors and give them more sparkle!   I was out of my sculpting paste but may add a little bit of stenciling later since I love that mixed media look.

The Greeting Farm July Preview Day #2: A Cupcake to Celebrate!

Hello Friends and welcome back to another July Preview Day at The Greeting Farm!!! Today is Preview Day #2 and it is definitely one to celebrate! :)

Here's my card for you today... 

This is a really fun stamp set and perfect for so many occasions including Birthdays!  I always need a lot of birthday cards so I was really excited to see this set which comes with a lot of fun themed images as well as some fantastic sentiments!  I just LOVE cupcakes so that was the image I grabbed for when making my card.  For my cupcake,  I got out my Dazzling Diamonds to sprinkle on the top of my sweet treat for some nice yummy shimmer!

The Greeting Farm July Preview Day #1: My Sunshine!

Hello Friends!!! I'm excited to share with you Preview Day #1 for The Greeting Farm's July 2014 Release!!!  Today, we are showcasing an adorable stamp set called My Sunshine!!!

Here's my card for you today... 

This fun stamp set actually comes with an Anya and Ian as well as a few sentiments!  I've been on a roll with making my own backgrounds but my mojo today was telling me to bring out some pretty papers for this pretty girl!:)   This paper collection is called "Every Day Moments" by Teresa Collins.   I did a lot of layering with the papers and added some flowers, twine and rhinestones to further embellish my card.

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge: Love you Much!

Here is my card:

My card features the adorable Violet Vintage  by Saturated Canary.   Isn't she so adorable?!!  I love Saturated Canary images and she is one of my favs!  I colored her up with my Copic Markers in one of my favorite combos of teal and purple.  The pretty papers I used are called Enchanted Garden by  Bo Bunny.   Gorgeous collection!  And for my handmade flower, I took out my MFT Prima Donna Petals die to make it using the designer papers.   MFT flowers are always so pretty when assembled and very easy to make as well!
