Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a great week. I'm excited about mine as I am off of work this whole week! Yay!!! Although we're not going on any big far away trips, we do have a little mini trip to Disneyland planned so we're looking forward to being at the "Happiest Place on Earth" very soon!!! :)
So this week, we have the very popular "Anything Goes" but this time, we have a twist of Add Stripes. This is optional but if you do win and your project has the "twist", you will get an extra prize! How cool is that?!!!
Our 2 awesome sponsors for this challenge are Shape EZ and All Dressed Up Stamps!
Here is my card:
So my card was simple and fun to make. I decided for my "Stripes Twist", I'd make them myself for the background. I took some masking tape to block out sections and then used some Tim Holtz distress inks in Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers to color my stripes. These are two of my favorite distress inks and I love how bright and colorful they are! The beautiful girl in the center of my card is called Breeze and she is from a stamp set by Saturated Canary! She's such a gorgeous image and I had so much fun coloring her up with my Copic Markers. The Hello sentiment comes from a set called Contemporary Roses by My Favorite Things. This is another stamp set I've been having so much fun with in the last few weeks. To finish off my card, I added some pink ribbon and some sequins.
Here are some other supplies used on my card:
Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card as well as all of the beautiful Saturated Canary stamps available at the store! Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see the other fun projects made by the DT! If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes from the store!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week! :)
Hugs,
Marcy
