Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge: Back to School!

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!  Hope you're all having a great start to your week.  Today, we start a new Loves Rubberstamps Challenge.  I am excited that this week was my turn to pick the challenge theme.  Since I've been so busy with Back to School events this last month, it's been on my mind constantly and I thought it was perfect to pick this as our theme for the week!

Our fantastic sponsor is Rick St. Dennis!!!

Here is my card:

So even though we are just at the very beginning of the school year, I decided to get a HUGE head start on some teacher cards.  Since I just love Cheeky Lessons so much, I thought she would be perfect on my Teacher Thank you card for today!  I had so much fun coloring her up with my copic markers and decided to add some polka dots to her dress with my white gel pen.  I added some shimmer to the apple and her shoes using my Wink of Stella glitter pen.  I also added some glossy accents to her eye glasses which I thought came out pretty cool!  The fun papers I used which are perfect for the school theme is called Paper and Glue by Echo Park.  To finish off my card, I tied some twine and added some pretty blue sequins to match with Cheeky's dress.

Here are some other supplies used on my card:

Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink
Polka Dot Greetings - My Favorite Things
Faded Jeans - Tim Holtz Distress Ink

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find this adorable image as well as many more images from the TGF Cheeky Collection.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see the amazing projects made by the other DT girls!  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes from the store!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week! :)

Hugs,

Marcy
