Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using Enchanted Love

Welcome Blogger Friends!  Hope you are all having a good start to your week!  Mine has already started out hectic at work. It's been one of those days where I would love to just hide out and craft! LOL I'm hoping things will calm down by Friday and then I can maybe enjoy my wish this weekend! :)

Well one thing during the week that I definitely look forward to is Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday challenges!!!  The challenge this week is called "Cute as a Button" and the challenge is to use a real button or handmade one on our project.

Our wonderful sponsor for the week is The Paper Shelter!

Here is my card...

The Paper Shelter has some of the cutest digi images I have ever seen!  This one is called "Enchanted Love".  So super adorable and I had so much fun coloring up this darling image with my copics!  I have been in a "Valentine" project mood lately and this week is no exception!  I mean the image is so "Valentine", right?!!! :)  I manually cut out this sweet image using a circle template.  I then decided to layer some doilies behind the image which I sprayed up with Tattered Angels Cherub Pink Glimmer mist.  The paper collection I used is by Authentique called Lovely.  I just can't get enough of these papers. They are gorgeous! Seriously, this would have probably gone in my "hoard vault" but I decided to share it in my project instead! LOL   I distressed all of the papers and then edged all of them with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Victorian Velvet. The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I also sprayed these up with TA Iridescent Gold, my favorite.  There's also a cute small pink resin flower at the bottom. To be true to my "Button" challenge, I decided to add a cute pink heart button on top of the large pink gardenia.  I added some pink twine to the button to further embellish it.  I glued the flowers down using Best Glue Ever.    The pink bling, including the cute butterfly, are from Recollections.  I also added the ticket stub which I thought would be cute for this card.  This ticket stamp comes from a Whimsy stamp collection called The Fun Life Tickets. Such a great set to have and I will definitely be using more of these on future projects!

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store. Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using Cheeky Rockabilly

Hello and Happy Sunday!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!  This weekend we finally took down our Christmas tree and decorations. Yes, I know this is so late! LOL  Aside from all the continued events going on, I think I was also holding off as long as possible.  But I'm eager to start off the New Year a little more organized so today I'll be cleaning house and just getting things in order.  That includes my craft room! With all the holiday projects, it still looks like a tornado hit it! LOL!  I actually just got my latest order from Loves Rubberstamps too and I can't wait to play with all my goodies!!! But first things first so I hope my motivation will continue on! :)

So today I would like to share my Loves Rubberstamps project for "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" day with you all!

Here it is...

This darling purse template is actually one I've had for quite a long time.  It's by Provo Craft and I seem to pull it out every Valentine's Day because I think it just makes the cutest VDay cards!  I love how it's so girly and easy to embellish.  So the image I partnered with this card is Cheeky Rockabilly.  You all know I love the Greeting Farm and this is one of my favorite images!  I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo and then colored her up with my copics.  She was super fun to color up and paper piece.  The paper collection I used is by Bo Bunny called Love Letters. These are such great papers which you could use for non VDay projects as well.  I edged all papers with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap and Victorian Velvet.  I laid my cheeky girl on a Spellbinders die called Big Scalloped Circles.  The pretty daisies on the purse handle are from Recollections and I sprayed them up with Iridescent Gold by Tattered Angels to give them some shimmer.  The other pink daisy by my image was originally a white daisy which I sprayed up with Lindy Stamp Gang starburst in Cotton Candy Pink.  I added some paper die cuts from a Valentine K & Co collection to the center of the flower as well as to the handle. Love the "S.W.A.K" lips which is perfect for this VDay gal who looks like she is blowing us all a kiss! :)  These flowers were all glued down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  The pretty light teal pearl trim lining the bottom is from my friend Carlene.  The pink bling is from Recollections. I also added some pink crinkled seam binding to the handle as added embellishment.  I wanted to show you the inside of the card too. I stamped a random sentiment I had "Be Mine" with my distress ink and then added some designer paper which I die cut with MFT's Jumbo Scallop to finish it off!  I didn't do anything to the back yet and not sure if I will but just wanted to show you how this little purse closes up on the back.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

Loves Rubberstamps challenge using Victoria and Juliette's Night Out

Hello!  Hope everyone is having a great week! With the holidays and having a few days off for vacation in between,  it's now back to the grind and back to my normal routines at work and at home.  Also back to that diet! LOL  I'm missing the holidays already! :(

But one things for sure...we always have these fun Tuesday challenges to look forward to, right?! :) The theme this week is to use dies or punchies somewhere on your project.  Now this is something I love to do anyways so I was thrilled with this challenge!

Our wonderful sponsor for the week is QKR Sampede!

Here is my card...

My best friend's birthday is coming up so I knew I wanted to make her a fun card.  I decided to use Uptown Girls  Victoria and Juliette's Night Out and I thought this image was perfect for a friendship card!  I stamped it on card stock with my favorite Memento Ink in Black Tuxedo.  I had so much fun coloring up these two gals with my copic markers and I even added some Ice Stickles in clear rock candy to the ruffles on their dresses.  I laid them on my Die-Namics Dizzy Doily die from MFT. The paper collection I used in the background is called Oliver from The Lost and Found Collection-My Mind's Eye. I really love these fun and pretty papers.  I also used some embossed Bazzil cardstock in green for the base and edged all papers with some Tim Holtz distress ink in Broken China.  The pretty roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I sprayed them all with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Iridescent Gold.   I glued the flowers down using Best Glue Ever.  I also added some Candi Dots in Coffee Bean to the corners of the card.  These are such fun embellishment to use and the store carries them in a variety of colors.  The sentiment "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" also comes from the same stamp set which is always a great bonus!

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card. There are so many new items in and also on pre-orders.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.

Hope you all like my card for the week!  Have a fantastic rest of the week and thanks so much for stopping by!

Loves Rubbertamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using Cheeky Chat

Hello  Blogger Friends! Hope everyone has been having a great weekend! This is my birthday weekend and I've been having a lot of fun celebrating as well as just enjoying time with the family.  I also was able to see a few movies which I hardly have a chance to do these days so I was really excited about that.  I saw "Monsters, Inc." in 3D with the kids which was adorable and then also had a chance to go on a date night with my hubby to watch "Les Miserable". Wow, this movie was not what I expected! I have actually seen the musical 3 times but seeing it on the big screen was a totally different experience.  There was so much emotion in it and I thought the actors did a great job portraying these characters! The movie stayed pretty true to the original and I loved it! I would totally recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a problem with musicals since they pretty much sing everything! LOL  Also, for those who don't mind sitting for quite a while as it is a pretty lengthy movie.

Anyway, let me move on to sharing my Loves Rubberstamps project for "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" day with you all!

Here it is...

So this is actually one of the new wooden Balsa boxes which I picked up at Michaels recently. This was a plain wooden box which I altered and turned into a Valentine's Day favor!  I took apart some pieces of the box so that I could paint the sides and the inside of the box in some Ivory acrylic paint by Americana.  The first photo is actually the back of my box but I wanted to share this one first to show you my cute Cheeky Chat from The Greeting Farm.  I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo.  I then colored her up with my copic markers and added some Ice Stickles in clear Rock Candy to the bow on her top, her barrettes and the heart on her phone.  The paper collection I used for the background is from K & Company called Valentine Sweetheart.  I edged all papers with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap.  The "XOXO" is from a matching tag die cut set also from K & Company.  The pretty pink resin flower is from Recollections.  On the front of the altered box,  I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts which I sprayed up with Iridescent Gold by Tattered Angels.  These flowers were glued down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.   I also added some Valentine die cuts to the front as well.  For the closure, I painted the knob in the same white paint I used for the box and then punched out a heart with my circle punch from one of the papers in the collection I used.  I added some glossy accents on top of it to give it an epoxy look. To close it up, I added some stretchy white lace from my stash to replace a plain brown rubber band which was previously on the box.  The pretty light teal green trim wrapping around the favor is from Scrapbooking with Me on Zibbet and the pearl trim layered on top of that is from KarlaS001 on Etsy.  The last photo just shows what I'm adding to the inside of this V-Day favor which is a box of Candy Hearts for this one. This was so much fun to make and I definitely plan to make more of these fun favor gifts to give out!

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

SSS Card using Sherry Baldy's Besties Big Head Dolls--Happy New Year

Hello Bloggers!  Hope everyone has had a great start for the New Year!  I wanted to share with you my 1st project of the New Year 2013 for Scrapbook Stamp Society!!!  This card uses an image by Designer Sherry Baldy called Besties Big Head Dolls-Happy New Year.  This image is super adorable and waas so much fun to color.  I don't usually go with this color combo of yellow and purple but decided to try it out. I was really happy with the way it came out!  Doesn't she look adorable in yellow? :)  The paper collection I used is the Bella Paper Pack.  There are so many pretty purples, lavenders, yellows and pinks in this collection. I also used some Bazzil cardstock in yellow as the base.  The yellow trim is from Sahafuha on Etsy and the pearl trim layered on top of it is from KarlaS001 on Etsy.  The bling and the pretty purple fabric flower is from Recollections.  The sentiment "Celebrate" is from a Stamp it Up stamp set I have in my stash.  Hope you all like my card!

I wanted to thank each and every one of you for being a part of my journey here in "Blogland" and for all of your sweets comments that you leave me. I read everything and am so humbled by your kindness.  I look forward to continuing the new year sharing projects with all of you! :)

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using Bildmalarna Mimosa Bare Foot

Hello Friends and Happy New Year 2013!  My family and I just rang in the new year a few hours ago here in California so it's in the early morning of New Year's Day!  Hope everyone had a great time ringing in the New Year or just being safe at home.  We had a small local celebration with the family and the grandparents and enjoyed every bit of it with the delicious food, the great company and the excitement of the countdown to the New Year! Wow, can't believe 2013 is already here! Cheers to you all and hoping the new year brings us all peace, happiness and good health! :)

I know I mentioned in my first posting for Loves Rubberstamps that this is the very first company I have designed for.  I am loving every bit of it and the team is so wonderful!  I feel like I've learned so much since I've started and have grown as a designer in my short time here.  So I was so thrilled that Laura asked me to stay on the team for another term! Thank you Laura!!! :)  Just wanted to share my excitement with you all! I look forward to continuing to share my projects for LRS in 2013 as well as getting inspiration from all of you! :)

So another great way for me to start off 2013 is to share one of my projects for the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge!!! The theme this week is the favorite "Anything Goes".  Basically, you can create whatever your heart desires!

Our wonderful sponsor for the week is The Cutting Cafe!

Here is my card...

This was a really fun card to make.  When I first started, I wasn't exactly sure where I was going to go with this. With The Cutting Cafe being our sponsor this week, I knew I wanted to use their cute Cake Template.  They have so many great templates and this one was so much fun to work with!  I printed and pieced the parts of the template together first. I then colored this up with my copics.  I then added some Ice Stickles in clear Rock Candy to the edges of the icing part of the cake.  I decided to use the adorable stamp by Bildmalarna called Mimosa Bare Foot.  And this little gal perfectly sat right on the plate of the cake which I thought was so cute!  I used my Memento ink in Black Tuxedo to stamp my image and then colored her up again using my copic markers.  The papers I used in the background is the Bella Paper Pack from Wild Rose Studio.  These are such pretty soft papers in pinks and purples and went perfectly with the colors I used. I also used some Bazzil cardstock in light pink for the base and edged all papers with some Tim Holtz distress ink in Spun Sugar.  The cute daisies are from Recollections and I sprayed them all with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Iridescent Gold. I also added some pink pearls around the flowers.   I glued the flowers down using Best Glue Ever.  The purple flower trim and the white pearl trim are from my stash. The sentiment is from the PI Hello Cupcake stamp set from MFT which I recently picked up at the store.

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card. There are so many new items in and also on pre-orders.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made .  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.
