Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring The Greeting Farm "Naughty or Nice"

Hello and welcome to Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!! Happy Tuesday everyone and hope you are all having a fantastic week so far!  This week's challenge is a fun one! The theme of this week is "Christmas in July".

Our wonderful sponsor this week is QKR Stampede!!!

Here is my card for this week's challenge...

This card features the "Nice" image of The Greeting Farm "Naughty or Nice" stamp set from the Cherry Cheeky Collection.  Of course they both look so innocent to me but the nice image always make a great Christmas card so when I saw this theme, I thought she would be perfect! :) I often use this image and just love how versatile she is for so many different kinds of cards.  I've used her on a past Christmas project and her "Naughty" counterpart on a previous Halloween project.  It's an awesome set to get and Laura has it available at the store so grab them while you can! :)  I think I'll use this image for the Christmas cards I usually give out to my co-workers.  I'm kind of known in the office now for my cards and my group especially looks forward to receiving them for Christmas.  Last year, I used "Holiday Anya" and the year before I used the cute image from "A Cheeky Christmas".  We'll see, I know TGF will come up with more adorable images for the holidays and I can't wait! :) The paper collection I used is called "Holiday Style" by October Afternoon.  This is a collection from last year but such fun bright papers and I'm already planning to make a few more Christmas cards using this collection.  I edged all of my papers in Broken China distress ink by Tim Holtz.  I laid my cute angel on some layered Spellbinders called 2011 Heirloom Ornaments. The sentiment comes from another TGF Christmas stamp set. The Poinsettias are from Petaloo and I am Roses.   I love the white one!  I sprayed them up with my Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to give them some nice shimmer.  Finally, I added some Kaiser Craft red rhinestones to finish off my card!

Other items used:
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store. So get an early start on your Christmas cards. I know I will! :)

Hope you all like my card for the week!  Have a fantastic rest of the week and thanks so much for stopping by and for all of your kind comments!

Is everyone having a good week?  I had a nice long weekend because I took off Friday from work to enjoy a Junior Lifeguard competition which my sons were in.  It was such a beautiful and fun day and both Ryan and Noah did awesome!  There's also a lot of festivities going on this weekend.  I found myself straying away from my house cleaning which really should have been priority for this long weekend! LOL  Anyways, I did have a chance to work on some projects for this week including this one for the LR Blog Hop!

Here is my card...

Yes, another image from my favorite stamp company, The Greeting Farm. This one is called "Birthday Anya II" and she was just added to the store recently so I thought it was perfect timing in creating a Birthday card for a friend.  Plus this image is another favorite of mine.  I mean she's a TGF image first of all and who doesn't love cupcakes??!!! :) After stamping this cutie up with my Memento ink in Black Tuxedo, I colored her up with my Copic Sketch markers.  I paper pieced her dress with some design papers called "Sweet Afternoon" by Teresa Collins.  I edged all of my papers in Pumice Stone.  Now the fun part was the cupcake.  After coloring my cupcake, I left the frosting blank and added some glue and then my dazzling diamonds over that to give it some shimmer.  Not sure if you can tell in the picture but it looks so sparkly up close!  I then wanted to add some sprinkles to the cupcake so I added some mini pink pearls from Recollections.  Doesn't that cupcake look so yummy?!!! I laid cute Anya on some layered Spellbinders called Lacey Circles Large.  I then added some roses and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts which I sprayed up with my Tattered Angels "Iridescent Gold" to give it some pretty sparkle. The "Enjoy" sentiment is also from The Greeting Farm and part of a set called "Delicate Words" Die set.

I'm actually entering this card in all of The Greeting Farm challenges going on this week!  What can i say, it actually fits all so wish me luck! :)

Here is my card for this week's challenge...

This card features the adorable "Watermelon Abigail" from All that Scraps. Isn't she super adorable? This is another card which screams Summer, my favorite season of the year! I also love watermelon and doesn't this one look yummy?! :)  So let me tell you that my hoarded item on this card is the pretty red polk a dot ruffle trim as well as the white pearl flower trim layered on top of that.  For the ruffle trim, I actually have this in several colors and have all of them in my hoard vault for sure! :)  Actually, many trims that I have are in this vault because I just love laces and trims! LOL Anyways, it was nice to take it out finally and use it on this card. I thought it went well with the colors too. The paper collection I used is called Summer Fresh by Simple Stories. I think I've used this paper collection in quite a few projects recently because they are so perfect for the summer theme. I edged all of my papers in Pumice Stone which is one of my favorite distress inks by Tim Holtz.  I have a Spellbinders  peaking out which is called Large Circle Scallops. The sentiment also comes from the paper collection which worked out great! The cherry blossoms on the corner (also a hoarded item for me) is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I sprayed them up with my Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to give them some nice shimmer.  Finally, I added some Kaiser Craft red rhinestones to finish off my card!

Other items used:
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July Holiday and enjoying the warm weekend!  Our 4th of July was a fun one watching are yearly firework show and enjoying the festivities!  I am thrilled this year to have Friday off as well.  I've been enjoying my long weekend spending time with the family at the beach.  I really love the beach and look forward to many more "Beach Days" this summer!

So here's my card to share...

I was so excited to get this stamp recently.  This cute gal is from The Greeting Farm and is part of the limited edition "Alice in Wonderland" Bean Collection.  This one is called "Hatter Bean" and she is my favorite of the bunch. TGF is no longer carrying these limited edition stamps so I was thrilled that Laura was carrying this collection at the store.  Be sure to go pick them up before they are gone because they will go quick!  After stamping this cutie up with my Memento ink in Black Tuxedo, I colored her up with my Copic Sketch markers.  She was so fun to color and I love the cute hat!  I added some Ranger stickles in "Diamond" to her shoes, the trim on on her dress and the flowers and hearts on her hat.  I cut her out and put her on some layered Spellbinders called "Blossom".  The paper collection I used is by Fancy Pants called "Hopscotch".  I love the bright vibrant colors in this collection. I edged all of my papers in Pumice Stone.  I then added some bling from Recollections and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The layered trims on the bottom of the card are from my stash.  The sentiment "Smile" is also from a random stamp set I had.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Anyone for Anya July Photo Challenge
