Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring Holiday Anya 2

Happy Tuesday Blogger Friends!  Hope Everyone is having a fantastic start to their weeks.  Gosh, didn't the weekend just fly by?! This seemed like the fastest weekend ever for some reason!  And between baseball games and birthday parties, I didn't have a chance to craft as much as I would have liked to. However, I did have a chance to make a card for a friend's birthday and thought this would be perfect to showcase for the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!  The challenge this week is to use "Colors of Spring"!

Our wonderful sponsors for the week are QKR Stampede and Paper Nest Dolls!

Here is my card...

Previously, I had always pictured "Colors of Spring" to be light pastels.  However, now I'm really envisioning these Spring colors to be more vibrant and bold colors!  I love the teal and bright pinks and I thought this would be a perfect color combo for this challenge.  The pretty girl image you see on the front of my card is Holiday Anya 2 by The Greeting Farm.  I just love her and had so much fun coloring her up with my copic markers.  I laid  her on a Spellbinders Lacey Circles. The design paper I used is a collection called Fabulous by Simple Stories.  This collection is so pretty and I've used it on a lot of my recent cards.  I made a handmade banner  with the DP, which  I stamped my sentiment "Happy Day" on  it with Memento ink in Black Tuxedo.  I  edged my papers using my Tim Holtz distress ink in Pumice Stone.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I sprayed these all up using my Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to give it some shimmer. I glued them all down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect. I also added some bling from Recollections.

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.  So bring on your interpretations of "Colors of Spring". I would love to see your projects!

Hope you all like my card for the week!  Have a wonderful week and thanks so much for stopping by to visit! :)
