Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Blog hop" featuring "Lily Bee"

I Design for Loves Rubber Stamps!

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $10 Loves Rubberstamps store gift certificate. So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love for the Designers! You have until Saturday, July 6, at 8pm CST. Have fun and we hope that you enjoy the hop!
If you've arrived here from Lydia's blog you are right on track! If not, I have posted the whole blog hop list below just in case you get lost along the way!

So here's my card for my share today!

With this weekend being so hot and just having recently been at the beach, I am definitely in a "Summer" kind of mood and this image totally reminds me of just that!  This adorable little bumble bee girl is "Lily Bee" from Pink Cat Studio.  This is the first time I've used PCS and I really love their images.  This sweet bee was so much fun to color up and create a card with.  I stamped my image using my favorite Memento ink in Black Tuxedo and colored her up using my copic sketch markers.  I cut her out using my Spellbinders Large Ovals Standard and then layered that on top of another Spellbinders Lacey Ovals cut with design paper. With the summer theme going on, I used one of my favorite Summer collections called "Summer Fresh" by Simple Stories.  This collection has so many pretty papers.  I edged all of my papers in my Tim Holtz Broken China.  The yellow ribbon I just purchased recently from Wild Orchid Crafs.  I added a paper flower which I made from using the MFT Rolled Daisy Die.  I love MFT's flower dies and I added a small pearl as a center.  The bling is from Recollections and the fun sentiment comes with the stamp set.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find crafting supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see design team projects as well as information on prizes and winnings!

Hope you all like my card and have a wonderful week ahead!

Your next stop on the hop is Ivonne!
