Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge featuring The Paper Shelter Happy Times1

Hello and welcome to Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!! Hope you are all enjoying some warm weather.  It's really starting to feel like Summer and I'm thrilled because I love Summer!  The summer months are pretty busy though with birthdays galore, summer camps, and Father's Day coming up right around the corner.  I thought this week's challenge was a good one to get some Father's Day cards created!

The theme for this week is to make a "masculine" card.

Our wonderful sponsor is The Paper Shelter!!!

Here is my card...

So I was so excited to get some digis from The Paper Shelter to work with including this cute little boy which is perfect for my "boy" card.  This image is called "Happy Times 1" and isn't it completely perfect?  I sure thought so since ice cream always makes me happy! :)   I cut out my cute boy using my Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and then layered that on top of another Spellbinders called Star Circles. The paper collection I used is called Oliver by Lost and Found 3/My Mind's Eye.  I edged all of my papers using Tim Holtz  Pumice Stone distress ink.  I wanted to keep this card simple so I didn't really embellish too much.  I used some brown twine behind my image and then added some Candi Dots in the Toy Box Collection by Craftwork Cards in the corners of the card.  I thought the sentiment "Chill Out" was perfect for this "Ice Cream" day and I stamped it on a handmade banner using Black Tuxedo Memento Ink.

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store.

Hope you all like my card for the week!  Have a fantastic rest of the week and thanks so much for stopping by and for all of your kind comments!
