Beach Canvas
Hello! I wanted to start the week sharing a canvas I made for my husband. It was taken at the Carpenteria Beach last summer and is a picture of my husband and 2 year old playing in the water. I absolutely love this picture! Lots of great memories that day! :) So this is an 8x8 canvas I picked up at Michaels. I first painted the canvas in Martha Stewart's "Linen" acrylic paint. I didn't want the background to look too busy so I used a simple Bazzil tan cardstock. I distressed the photo with a distressing tool and layed it on top of some brown burlap trim which I picked up at Karla's S001 etsy store. The Memory key, Play ticket, Wonderful muse token and book corner are all Tim Holtz. The sentiment was also from a Tim Holtz stamp set. The flowers are I am Roses sprayed with Dazzling Diamonds. The shells added randomly, I also picked up at Michaels as well as the starfish charm. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful week! Marcy
