Beach Canvas
Hello! I wanted to start the week sharing a canvas I made for my husband. It was taken at the Carpenteria Beach last summer and is a picture of my husband and 2 year old playing in the water. I absolutely love this picture! Lots of great memories that day! :) So this is an 8x8 canvas I picked up at Michaels. I first painted the canvas in Martha Stewart's "Linen" acrylic paint. I didn't want the background to look too busy so I used a simple Bazzil tan cardstock. I distressed the photo with a distressing tool and layed it on top of some brown burlap trim which I picked up at Karla's S001 etsy store. The Memory key, Play ticket, Wonderful muse token and book corner are all Tim Holtz. The sentiment was also from a Tim Holtz stamp set. The flowers are I am Roses sprayed with Dazzling Diamonds. The shells added randomly, I also picked up at Michaels as well as the starfish charm. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful week! Marcy

Greeting Farm Mini Album Project-Fairy Anya and Flirty Anya
It's Friday! Just wanted to quickly share a tiny Greeting Farm mini album project that is in the making. The pages are made with some coasters which I picked up at Michaels for 70% off some time back! I love the Greeting Farm stamps so I am making an "Anya"mini album. Both images were colored up with my Copic Markers. The 1st stamped image is "Fairy Anya". Behind her is a beaded circle Spellbinder die cut. The flowers used are I am Roses. I colored up the peach tiny rose in the middle of the daisy and the two on the side with my Lindy Stamp Gang Magical Mica powder in peach frost. I covered the coasters using the the Prima Fairy Flora paper collection as the background and also to piece her outfit and wings. The 2nd image is "Flirty Anya". I again used I am Roses on the side and the background is the Recollections Union Paper collection. I love both papers! The bling trim is from Karla S001 Etsy store. Hope you like these! I'll post more of my mini album pages as I complete them for this project. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! :) Marcy

Bohemian Anya Card
Hello! I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I had planned to do more crafting but the weekend got pretty busy. Still, I was able to get started on a mini album project and also make a card which I submitted to a Greeting Farm sketch contest. I wanted to share this card and I hope you like it. The image is "Bohemian Anya" and I totally love this stamp! I paper pieced her with paper from the Prima Melody collection which I also used in the background. She is placed on a Lattice Rectangle spellbinder die cut. The Hello greeting was stamped from a $1 bin stamp I picked up at Michael's this weekend. I used some scalloped white vintage lace which I layered on the card. The flowers are from Wild Orchids and sprayed with Tattered Angels Dazzling Diamonds to make them super glittery! :) Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

Everyone ready for the long weekend? What a hectic week for me! I'm sure looking forward to the extra day off to relax and also get some projects finally started! I wanted to share a card I made for a co-worker recently. She loves turquoise and really enjoyed the card. I hope you like it too. The stamped image is "Dancin Mae" which is a Some Odd Girl stamp. I colored her up with my Copic Markers. She's placed on a label Spellbinder die cut which I "blinged" out the background with some flourishes from Recollections. The beautiful trim and butterfly is from Karla S001 on Etsy. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and are sprayed with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold. The paper collection I used is from Glitz Muse. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Valentine's Day card for Hubby!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Hope you have something special planned with your sweeties! :) Just wanted to share a simple card I made for my hubby. I had so many cards I had to make this weekend that I felt like I threw this one together fast! I'm happy how it came out and I hope he likes it! I used the Cosmo Cricket Love Notes paper collection and just cut out the sentiments that were on one of the papers. I also die cut some hearts from a Sizzix I had and edged everything in Tim Holtz Walnut Distress ink. I added some I am Roses on one of the hearts sprayed with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold. The Kiss token is from Tim Holtz and I added a small pink heart bling from recollections. I finished the inside of the card with more heart die cuts and another sentiment. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your special day! :)

Darling Marci Valentine's Day Card
Hi bloggers! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Where did it go? My weekend was so busy but I did have a chance to make a Valentine's Day card for a special scrappy friend! I took out an old Provo craft purse template which I absolutely love. The paper collection I used was Cosmo Cricket Hey Sugar. I stamped a La La Land craft Darling Marci image which I colored up with my copic markers. I used shades of pink for her hair to add a more V-Day touch! :) I paper pieced her clothing also using the paper collection. Framing her is a Spellbinder Heart Circles die cut. I added some I am roses sprayed with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold. Hope you like the card and hope you all have a great week! :) Here is the link to the La La Land gallery: http://lalalandcrafts.blogspot.com/

Kaylee Valentine Day's Card
It's the middle of the week and 2 more days to go!!! I can't believe Valentine's Day is almost here too! Here is a card I made to start my V-Day crafting! This is a Some Odd Girl Stamp called "Love Letter Kaylee" (www.someoddgirl.com). The paper I used was just some random paper I picked up from the bins at Michael's but I think it is older MME. I colored up the cute little girl with Copic Markers. I added a little tiny heart bling on the envelope she is holding. She is placed on a spellbinder label diecut. The pretty pink trim is from frogfeathers on Etsy. The flowers are from I am Roses. I sprayed them with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to make them shimmery! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the week! Happy crafting! :)

Syren Mermaid Card
Happy TGIF!!! I am so excited for the weekend! Even though it will be a busy one, I am hoping to get some crafting in! I wanted to share another card I made recently for a friend. The stamp I used is Syren from the Greeting Farm. I love this little mermaid. She is so cute! The paper collection I used was Ciao Bella by DCWV. The flowers are from I am Roses. The large flower I painted with Lindy Stamp Gang mica paint in the Teal Green. I also ran some paint over the rose buds. Syren is sitting on a Spellbinder scallop die cut which was just sprayed with Tattered Angels Patina. I colored her up using my Copic markers. It took me a while to figure out how to do her hair but I like the way it came out! I also painted the bottom of Syren including her fins with Iridescent Medium which made her look extra sparkly! I learned this technique from Arlene Butterfly! Thank you! :) The trim is from Frog Feathers and the pearl trim is from Karla S001. You can find them on Etsy. I also placed clear rhinestone stickers on the card to give the effect of bubbles. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my card and I hope you all are having a great Friday! :) Hugs, Marcy
