Syren Mermaid Card

Happy TGIF!!!  I am so excited for the weekend!  Even though it will be a busy one, I am hoping to get some crafting in! I wanted to share another card I made recently for a friend. The stamp I used is Syren from the Greeting Farm.  I love this little mermaid.  She is so cute!  The paper collection I used was Ciao Bella by DCWV.  The flowers are from I am Roses.  The large flower I painted with Lindy Stamp Gang mica paint in the Teal Green.  I also ran some paint over the rose buds.  Syren is sitting on a Spellbinder scallop die cut which was just sprayed with Tattered Angels Patina. I colored her up using my Copic markers.  It took me a while to figure out how to do her hair but I like the way it came out! I also painted the bottom of Syren including her fins with Iridescent Medium which made her look extra sparkly!  I learned this technique from Arlene Butterfly!  Thank you! :) The trim is from Frog Feathers and the pearl trim is from Karla S001.  You can find them on Etsy. I also placed clear rhinestone stickers on the card to give the effect of bubbles. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my card and I hope you all are having a great Friday! :) Hugs, Marcy

  1. Very lovely card! I love the color combo and the ribbon treatment. She is colored lovely too. I love how easy it is to read your blog. I haven't got one yet, so I am not an expert, but I know I like it.
